Off off topic – How do you submit a picture for the gallery? I read the FAQ, but I’m still pretty lost. Help, please. 😕
YOu have to create an album… if you already have an album, then you just have to hit the “Upload file”… Its up on top next to Home and Search, etc… do you already have an album?
No, not yet. I don’t even have a picture to upload. lol I just finished my first PYO and want to post a picture soon. I did see where you can create an album, but not how to do it. Do you just have to title it or something?
lol! GB 😆
Yes, doooo tell! 😆

As I said before, I believe that the PYO painted by Windstoneeditioncreations would have sold well without all of the keeper references, etc. It certainly is a beautiful dragon and I would have bid on it myself, except for all of the other issues. Everyone makes mistakes, myself included and we all seem to forgive and forget, as it were. Please tell her she is welcome here and to excuse our remarks, if she found them offensive. We are very protective of Melody – what can we say? 😉

I can do 15% off items that are slow salers, but not my full Windstone stock. But not 25% sorry guys. I can also do free shippin inside the US. I can only offer Windstone on sale for a limited time (starting 1/23 for a week) New Years sale!
I would guess Grandio can offer free shipping and %off sales because they have been around for quite a while and they sell other things that can offset the discounts. It’s nice that they offered 25% off. I always appreciated the free shipping, though – that’s why I’ve stuck with them. Maybe (probably) my savings are an illusion, but there’s that psychology again. lol Not to mention, their site is kept updated and it’s very easy to see what they have available. Personally, I hate one picture with dropdown color choices. That’s just me, though.
It’s not a money issue. It’s that fact that they have signed a contract with Windstone saying they will not sell items for less then the set Windstone price. Windstone did this wiht their venders to make sure they do not de value their work.
I do not however know if there is anything in that contract able being able to put the items on sale
I would have to assume all retailers pay the same wholesale prices for Windstone. The retailers chose their markups within reason, with a set “floor” from Windstone. Some may chose to make more money on a few people. Others choose to offer a sale and therefore make more money overall on increased sales. If the retailer sets their price too high, the market will not support it and their product will not move.
You’d think that would be the case, but emerald said that her contract specifies what she has to sell the items for (which is what DM pointed out):emerald212 wrote:I don’t know how Grandio can have a sale because I have a minimum of what I can sell the items for (in my contract with Windstone), and I already sell them at that price.
I wish I could have a sale sometimes. I have a couple of candlelamps that aren’t moving.
Maybe they get around it by putting almost everything on their site on sale. *shrugs* Better order now, in case we got Grandio in trouble and they get a cease and desist. lol

There is roughly 50 people on it if you’re curious, and I think two are guys.
No takers, unless they are as smart/clever as you:p

Hahahaha! @ tattle. 😆 Cute!

Probably? they meant well taking him inside. Poor Bubbas has been through alot lately!
Congrats on your auction:)
Someone always posts the commercials online afterwards. I find watching them later and skipping the Superbowl is much more enjoyable.
Excellent! My son loved it, too:)

You never had Oscars! We had two and we loved them to death (literally). 😥 We didn’t know feeding them live food would give them hole in the head disease. I still feel bad and miss them – they were smart, beautiful, wonderful fish.

All you really do is trace. I’ve seen and know a few tattoo artist that where not really artist at all. The just did flash art, no custom work. If you ever go to an artist with custom art & they give you a quote that’s really high, they just do flash and I can tell you they are trying to get out of doing the custom art. But on the other hand good tattoos are not cheap.
Tatooing has it’s ups and downs but I had alot of problems with my heath & had to get out of it. I still have my tattoo machine & work on myself every now and then.Too bad you aren’t near me – I would let you keep your chops up. 😀
