Cold Sky Dragon

Cold Sky is an old fashioned style dragon. And by that, I mean that there was no airbrushing involved at all. This one is all hand brushed from beginning to end. Cold Sky is that first frost that comes in, and as the sun sets, even the colors just seem that much colder. His coloring is deceptive. The colors in normal, non too bright lighting, looks more muted then you’d expect. But turn a lot onto him or a patch of sun light and POW! The colors show up vibrantly. This one I am not putting on ebay.

Maple Rush Koi
Trying a mix of beach and asian art. With more Koi on the way. In this one, a leaping Koi from turbulent waters to falling maple leaves and a bright evening sky. This koi is painted in metalic paints on a flat background, with texture added to the the canvas. It really picks up the light and the colors practically emit from the canvas. painted on a 6×8 inch canvas.

Just finished this Kirin and she came out amazing. She has light sunrise colors that are super sparkly with a dark bay to light chestnut fur color. Covered in interference and a very sparkly gold. She’s just adorable in all lighting.Hope you guys like her!
Mandarin FooP

Wow, he was an interesting challenge. A lot of detail and work went into the markings. I tried to match the tail and leg markings to fin markings. He really turned out awesome in person. I fit some interference colors over some of the markings and on the neck and head. I totally loved painting the little fella.
Tide
He is for sale, asking $155 plus shipping (tax if in ca)
Tide is a small dragon with all the blues of tidal waters, being whipped up by waves and cleaned by sand. With accenting colors of sea anemones and starfish. He is overlayed with multiple interference colors, from green over the white foam blue of his side scales, to blue and purple of the pearl copper belly scales. You will want to pick him up and turn him over and over and still you will find colors you didn’t notice before. I settled on photos in full light because truly, his colors are complex yet very subtle.
