I agree…don’t feel bad to snipe! Do it in the last 15 seconds of the auction!!! Possibly a test bid about 10 minutes before it ends to see where the high bidder is at….and then…put a big bid in the last few seconds and you should have it…
We all do it and most of us have no hard feelings…
I have been sniped plenty and sniped others…no hard feelings!
I really hope you get what you want!
OMG! Thank you! Please say it is going on ebay or better yet…you’ll sell it to me π I know I am dreaming…but I must have a special Castle of the Hawks π Squeak!
I have something headed Windstone’s way!!!
Is there a possibility that you have an old test paint of the Castle of the Hawks hanging around in the factory somewhere?
That is the only one that I have left to get and if there is hope of a test paint…I might have to send lots of Christmas treats….
Squeak, Squeak, Squeak!

A little bird told me that staff would be at the factory in California for at least January and maybe February…..
I am planing a little suprise for the wonderful Windstone staff!!!

You and I missed them because we were ebaying for Windstones…so I don’t feel so bad π Hehehehehe!!!
I know which one it is! Good Luck and you won’t have competition from me if I am right!
travistie wrote:Oh, I thought you weren’t going after that one! I feel bad now.
I put in a nibble bid early on, but I always get serious during the last minute on stuff I really want. Sorry Kaya! I probably won’t be going after the next one though, if that makes you feel better. I don’t want to hog them all! Plus, I won’t have any money for it anyway. I need to buy Christmas presents for other people eventually. π
Don’t sweat it…I bought two castles and a Griffin this week…that was probably quite enough!!!!
Awesome! I can’t wait to get my two!!!
I talked to Karen about 30 minutes ago and she said there will be more π So don’t worry…they always do a good job of making sure there are enough.
I didn’t get one either, I was in a bidding war with Travistie…hehehe BTW Congrats to Travistie on both Poads!!! You know if you get bored with one I will buy it from you later! She beat me at 9 seconds….that was some serious sniping and won my admiration!!!!

You can have just answered with the “Most exotic vets will not spay a female because it requires major surgery. The males can be anesthetized with gas and have the exteral testes removed in either a one stich proceedure or a no stitch proceedure” part lol.
I only asked about the female, not everything else or living conditions or anything π― I know a lot about sugar gliders because a friend had one. So I know all about them. But he had a male and that was it.
I’ve also had (or taken care of other’s) plenty of exotic animals, so I’m aware of what they entail πSorry…I am always in education mode with exotics because so many people don’t understand….
I am geared for the long answer…..
Not anything to do with you personally….most people don’t even know what a Sugar Glider is…..

I never buy female animals, so I never have that kind of problem between the two πThe female and male were both rescues and in desperate need of a companion. The males have external testes and the females have internal sex organs.
Sugar Gliders are highly social and do not do well when kept as a solitary pet, unless their owner makes up for the need for a companion.
They also like to live in large social groups. So my female and male have three children, who are adults and all of them live together and take care of each other. Problem is..I didn’t want them to continue to reproduce….
They are so sweet together and love each other…and they are in a huge cage with lots of toys….
They are about the size of a hamster. Most exotic vets will not spay a female because it requires major surgery. The males can be anesthetized with gas and have the exteral testes removed in either a one stich proceedure or a no stitch proceedure.
With exotics..the goal is to do the least amount possible..because they are wild animals and always have issues.
Exotics are not like domesticated animals and they always have extreme issues. They are more likely to have these type issues …so the big moral of the story..
If you decide you want hedgehogs or fenec foxes or sugar gliders or kinkajous….you will be in for hefty vet bills for all sorts of crazy stuff…because that is what having non domesticated animals means…
They are not regular pets and they can be very rewarding, but pose challenges beyond what a Guinea Pig or a Hamster will cause…
Hope things work out great for Frodo!!
This is why I always use UPS…they can damage things too…but the UPS guys that are on the route between me and the factory seem to do a good job! Plus Windstone packs exteremely well!!!!

I can’t help but find the whole situation funny though. Sooooo many comments that could be made π I hope Benji feels better soon though (and finds a new hobby … boys π )
I meant for the post to be funny and I would probably laugh hysterically if you wanted to say funny things….
The funniest part of the whole thing, is who would believe this kind of stuff actually happens!!!
If men could reach their wanky’s they would never go to work….they would stay at home all day long….obviously that’s what Benji was doing with his day today!
Hehehehehe π π π π π π -
