I asked the seller and she says the dragon has a felt pad and was purchased in 1986. So old, but not the first batch.

    Welcome to the Forum!

My husband doesn’t even notice when I buy new ones and put them out. I’m not complaining, mind you. 😆

    Ditto…

I said…”honey, I bought some test paint one of a kind pieces…just wanted to let you know…”

    He says…”whatever you want”

    I am not complaining either!!!!

    JC, you are soooo silly!

Actually he is back in his cage tonight for a test run.

He is so smart, when I take off the collar he doesn’t fool with it….he grooms normally, eats, drinks and goes to sleep….

The minute I put him in the cage….he starts again.

People think marsupials are not as smart as regular mammals…well he would out wit any raccoon. They can open their cage too. We had to put a lock on the cage door latches.

My boss was laughing on Friday and said why do you think he is doing it? and I said because he can…and if human males could reach that area..they might never go to work either…Hehehehehe

in reply to: Feedback Question #641451

It doesn’t matter to me as long as the feedback is good.

I did have a situation where I left negative feedback for the first time. I paid with a money order on November 5th. I talked to the seller Nov 20th saying he got the money order and sent item UPS Nov 18th. I asked for a tracking number no response. Nov 27th I messaged him, no response, msgs Nov 28, 29 and 30 and no response. I reported Item not sent to ebay and gave him bad feedback.

Magically, he responded the same day. Said the item was returned while he was on vacation.

Now all of a sudden, he needs my address again? Maybe he lost it?

Hmmmm…perhaps he never sent it in the first place?

Now he is being very polite….perhaps the power of Negative feedback and why so many people wait.

I paid him 3 weeks ago and he never left feedback, despite him saying Nov 20th that he got my money order.

You never know and next time I will be wary of a money order only auction!

in reply to: Old green curls, anyone? #641036

If I catch them next time I will buy a few…and then whoever needs one can have one of my extras…

On the same note…If anyone snags an extra and I don’t, please keep me in your thoughts.

I missed the Silvers and the Old Greens. I also have a friend who needs the Silver and Old Green also.

    Thanks!!

I wish, but the bidding is already almost at my max limit, so the likelihood of my getting this kirin is zip. But for a little while, I had him. I sure hope they may this a production color, otherwise I am gonna cry buckets.

I still want a special one someday though, darn it!

    Kyrin

I really do know how you feel. I really wanted a dark calico flapcat and they kept going for way more than the light colored ones….

    I didn’t get one…

Sometimes you will get some good deals…I got the Test Paint Mariner’s Watchtower for not much more than what a production piece went for.

The neat thing for you…you have the ability to paint and repair Windstones. You could do a PYO in a very similar pattern.

I can’t paint to save my life….I would love to have the ability to paint a PYO.

Also..with all the Christmas buying and spending…you might get lucky on another piece. I am sure there is a lot of neat stuff coming!

Don’t give up! You might get lucky! Keep watching!

in reply to: What do the Windstone Staff like to Eat or Drink? #641472

    Inquiring minds need to know!

I know steak and lobster are favorites…but that is hard to send cross country.

Is there any special thing like coffee, tea, sweets, cookies, alcholic beverages…etc that the majority of Windstone staff likes? Specifically things that can be sent without worrying that it will go bad.

And the big question, what do you like Melody as a favorite, guilty pleasures snack?

Karen and Susie’s favorite snacks would be good information also! And who can leave out Olympia and John?

Are you accepting edible bribes? Anyone know what Melody and the staff there likes to nibble? Im so serious about this that Id have something special sent over to the factory if this would be committed to production coloring.

Im very serious about the edible bribery.

    PT,

Karen told me the Windstone staff is picky about their chocolate. So basically not chocolate, but she did say that they like steak and lobster. I had to call yesterday because of the castles and I asked, trying to get ideas too. I really need a Castle of the Hawks 🙂

I am sure whatever edible bribery will be appreciated!
