just sent mine! Thank you so much now maybe I’ll have a chance at a curled dragon!!!!!
Greater Basilisk wrote:He-s really a cutey. Is that a fledgling in the background?
LOL yea you have good eyes. It’s my full rainbow family. I have to put the dragon head up high because my cat thinks it’s a toy. So it’s safe up high with the Windstone
Well my first little dragon didn’t sale so I don’t know if I’ll relist him or not.
Here is the newest dragon that I’m working one.
He looks so much better in person. I have the head done and most of the body I just ran out of wool. This one is going to be more dragon like and less like a teddy bear. He looks a little like spyro (didn’t mean for him too) so I think the body will look like Spyros too.Watergazer wrote:I love your new scratchboard ones best!
Thanks! That one’s bigger than a ACEO at 5″ x 7″ I still need to find out how to cut the claybord down to 2.5″x3.5″ with out messing it up. Oh & I’m doing Free shipping right now!
Well my internet has been up & down. Works one day then gone the next….I’m a little behind on the 2 a day dragons. I’ve finally got last weeks works up on
E-bayhttp://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZenchantmentsartQQhtZ-1
And some bird artwork. Just got a new baby lilac-crowned amazon parrot, and maybe rescuing a African Grey. so finding time for artwork is hard right now. But I love the birds too much to care!dragonessjade wrote:Yes, I think it is cute also. Why isn’t it for kids?
Mostly because kids are not nice to toys and it could come apart at the joints. But not all kids are like that….so if you had a kid that takes care of there toys it would be ok (or an older kid). I just added that because I didn’t want some one buying it for a baby and the baby pulling an arm or leg off. It’s jointed like a teddy bear, but the joints are not that strong. Meaning a kid could pull them out.
I reworded the auction hope it makes more sence now
LOL!that’s so cool! love the colors.
skigod377 wrote:Yeah… a pink one! Your dragon is cute! I didnt relly understand the detached head… The auction makes it sound like the head comes off! Is that the case?
Did I say detached head!? Oppps need to reword that. No the head is not possible like the arms and legs. It’s in that little tilt and can’t be posed/moved. Sorry my wording is always bad on my auctions.
Greater Basilisk wrote:Aw, it looks so cute. It’d probably be an awful nuisance to wash if it ever got dirty, though, since it so fuzzy. Is it made from felt?
It’s made from wool, done with what’s called needle felting. So it comes out looking like felt.
Ok I had to share. This is my first time making a stuffed animal. It’s really small only 6″ tall and very fuzzy

It’s a dragon but it turned out looking a little like a teddy bear. It has little wings you just can’t see it in this picture.Watergazer wrote:Well, you can always outbid me, lol. Hopefully by the end of the week I should have at least 7 cards to post on ebay myself. But I do like the white dragon…it’s an awesome dragon. You’ll have to do some baby and hatchling dragons too.
Thanks that’s a good idea. That’s my first white dragon & I just love this black paper my hubby got me for X-mas works so well for white animals!
I’m a little behind on the 2 dragons a day thing, I had a death in the family. But I think this week I can get started again.don’t feel bad vantid I’ve miss cute ACEOs too. None of mine are right at 2.5″ X 3.5″ but really close. I think as long as it’s not too small and still fits in the little trading card protector it’s still a ACEO. I’ve gone back over the edges on a few a few to many times trying to get them prefect, that a card ended up about 3″ X 2.5″
I found this really great little paper cuter of all places at the dollar store. It’s the kind with a slide down blade (can’t cut yourself) It’s for scrapbooking and works really well just not on too thick of paper.
Your cards are great by the way!Greater Basilisk wrote:Nice white dragon. I hope the cards sell well.
thanks! I’m hopeing for good sales too 🙂
I just got the new one’s for today listed. A purple dragon on that black paper (that stuffs so cool) and a pink dragon (hey ski did you hear pink!)thanks that does help!
Watergazer wrote:Oh man that’s totally awesome! I also have a similar personal goal…to create 2 ATC cards per day…mainly as a source of income actually, but still…just about the same idea you got. Awesomeness…I hope we both meet our own workloads.
That’s so cool! Good luck to you. Do you have a place where you will be showing them or just listing them on e-bay? My hubby had a good idea, to make a page a day calender once I get 365 dragons done. It would be cool if you did the same thing!
