good catch- the emerald really isn’t in bad shape at all-if you worked on him for a few moments and have any talent he could easily be good as new-or you could just stick him in with his buddies and still be pretty happy
Ebay is generally a big let downwhen it comes to windstones, this kind of stuff is happening more and more.
You never know what I’ll wind up with so thanks for the compliment and hopefully a few people really get something out of this
I don’t get into the real artsy aspects, so to ask me about specifics on paint jobs, I can’t really help, definitely not my forte, other members with some talent feel free to chime in when I’m posed with an artsy question–please
Most of these pieces have aspects such as painting color and quality that can be redone relatively easy. So good luck guys, doesn’t look like things will last too long…..
blue go into the store and look at the category list on the left side and click on markdown/sale- any discounted goodies will be put there. From time to time we’ll post anything from junk to some real hotties that have minor fixes etc
yes the young orientals noses are black- the other side of the nose appears to be original- its just one nostril that was evidently worked on- and frankly anyone with just a smidge of talent should be able to make it mint
I don’t generally do the fixes-many items are sold to me as mint—we’ve had that all before haven’t we. I just had to do that cat, though he’s not purrrrrrrrfect he’s by no means embarrassing either. But overall the md category should make our lives a little easier and give forum members first crack
Bob from BT- we just created a new category in the store called mark down. Whenever we get damaged stuff, we’ll list it there and notify you guys first. Theres some pretty decent deals on some real rare stuff—oh yeah we just received another bad shipping job on some awesome pieces, most were fixable and some look great. If a forum member buys you’ll get another 5 dollars off the price, but prices are not currently negotiable

If I find one I’ll hold it for you and only you unless you say otherwiseno, but since we paid so much for her and she only has minor leafing issues we’re going to list her in the store for 100 and wait it out—-oh yeah it will probably be a looooong wait
its fun torturing our customers-you should have seen what our house looked like when we got our last shipment—100 pcs—-all wrapped like that–the shipping cost was over a thousand dollars alone. Its been about 3 weeks since and still tripping over everything–oh such problems. oh and is that lap to die for or what……
i’m from New York, and you’d be surprised as to how few retailers there are—-this may sound funny but especially in the city, theres virtually none
