i sent an email to melody about the empress and why there isnt one all grown up. she told me the old warrior was supposed to be an empress but it turned into somethin different, the old warrior we know today.
i voted for lavender, but im just a big purple color fan.
i too agree that the lavender eyes would look gorgeous in the black and golds.ok, i got my pink keeper today that FD painted for me and well, I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!! GORGEOUS !!!!!!

but dracco wanted a pink dragon like the pink griffin I did for ski…
of course I don’t like doing the exact thing as I’ve done before so I changed it up a bit…but used the same pink, golden rose, lilac and silver leaf…with violet, red and gold interference paints…
unfortunately the horn on the left side of the dragon’s head was broken when it got here…but I fixed it up…and the only difference is it’s smoother than the right side…(if you are looking at the dragon it would be on the right side and the good horn is on the left)
WOW! prettier than i imagined. I LOVE IT !!! i cant wait to get it home !

I think you missed the point! 😆 Melody didn’t paint those curls. Those are special pieces Oly did! Please don’t get me wrong, Melody does take into account what people want. She always listens (with her list about 300 miles long by now I bet!). I’m not saying she doesn’t (after all we now have many colors that we wouldn’t if it weren’t for the squeaking of everyone!). However the special artist’s edition pieces are a little different. I do not mean to speak for Melody here- please do feel free to make your voices known if you want these colors (the worst she can do is say no!) but just understand that right now is probably a bad time to ask. She and everyone else is so busy that it could easily be forgotten or overlooked.
Unfortunately as far as I know Oly is unable to move with the factory- so if they are able to work with her remotely as they do with me, then we are going to only see artist’s edition pieces from her more than likely.
i will cross my fingers and hope for a lavender someday. 🙂

We are quickly running out of blank casts, and we are hard pressed to even get out the color we will be releasing with the move looming over our heads (Another big rig of stuff left today for Corvallis). There will be more curls in different colors in the future of course, but like I said, these are *special* Olympia pieces. I can’t say if those will be the only two, or if there will be more – that is not my call to make. The curls as they are now (all of them) are limited production – that is why you can only get them in the store.
But please… be patient and cut us a teeny-weenie tiiiiny bit of slack on the pieces. The stress of moving is getting to everyone (myself included). We are doing the best we can with what we got.

c’mon guys lets not rule out the lavender and ice blue as of yet. i know what DZ is saying and if anybody would know she would.but if we all post something or let melody know how interested we are maybe just maybe we can get them done in limited production. it doesnt hurt to try,right ?

Are the light blue and light pink I think it was coming out or where they just test paints??

the lavender and the blue i do believe were just test paints or somthin, but i have asked Melody about them.she said it may be somthin they will do ,but i figure if enough of us let her know we want them she will do it. i know she wants to get to all of the colors that have already been done before 1st .so all we can do is let her know our interest and wait.
SUCKS waiting though ,but there is only so much they can do at one time.
