Love all the fur babies! 🙂
Yep friesians are my favorite breed too. Hubby and I live right in Dallas so its too expensive to keep horses right now for us since we don’t have land for them. Someday though we will and I’ll have a pack of pugs too! 😀
Hi Everyone!
Ok, I think this is my 4th post and I am going to jump right in and start a topic. 😉 My first friend on here mentioned I might share the pics of my fuzzy kids with others as we obviously are all animal lovers here and she is right! I’d love to see your furkids too!
Here are mine!
Pearl is the baby(3 years old), she is my little pocket pug. She is very much a momma’s girl, always wants to be right with me (and only me) and snuggles up on my pillow at night (and snores). I do medieval reenactment (anyone else in the SCA?) and she comes with me to alot of events which is why she has an elizabethan ruff on in this pic:
Tank is the next youngest but older than Pearl by 4 years. He is a very sweet boy, sounds like a girl when he barks and prances when he moves. He actually only has one eye now after an accident / fight with his brither in July of 2007. He’s still my perfect little pug though.
Ickis is my oldest pug… well technically half pug. The other half is a chihuahua so we call him a ‘Chia-pug’. 😀 He is a brat, too smart for his own good. He is my ‘firstborn’ though and I wouldn’t trade him for anything.
The kitties are more my Hubby’s than mine (I know, role reversal!) but I love them just as much. Here is a pic of them ‘helping’ me with sewing (I sew costumes and gowns in my ‘free time’ from my ‘real’ work); Carmy is on the left and Neko is on the right:
Last but not least, my former horse Maximus. I had to let him go to a new home in 2007 due to various reasons but he is still very much in my heart. Thats is me on him at one of our SCA events. He is a friesian; I have a soft spot for big black fuzzy footed horses (which I am sure you all will know soon enough! LOL!)
Well, thats all I have for now! I look forward to seeing pics of your furbabies!
purpledragonclaw wrote:Welcome and good luck on getting the Black Unicorn family! Windstone did make a few Grand Unicorns in black, but they are harder to track down. I know you made mention of that in the Flea Market Wish List.
Thanks for the welcome! Awesome on the Grand Unicorn in black; I will keep my eyes open for it! Think I’ll have an easier time about it now that I found this place! 😀
WOW! You guys are awesome! This is the first forum I’ve ever joined that actually welcomed me before I posted! 😳
I’m very happy to have found you all! I’ve recently started hunting down the Black Unicorn family; I’ve wanted it for years but have not been able to get my hands on any of them. I am hoping that will change soon! There are two males on ebay right now. *crosses fingers*
I do have one Windstone; Grimalkin who sits on one side of my fireplace while my fat cat sculpture (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/mfa_2067_358593596) sits on the other. I dig em.
Anyways! Thanks again for the welcome!
Edited list as of 10/28/09
I am VERY interested in the Grand Unicorn, yes I would like the black one. I know but people by tickets to win the lottery too. :shout: I am also interested in the Unicorn Gargoyle. Not interested in the gothic.
I’m watching the progression of the prototype Eyes Closed Bird Winged Flap Cats; I think they are super cute! Hoping to see one in all black (with maybe silver highlights?).
I also love Poads! I prefer the brightly colored ones & own a black peacock & blue mosaic & soon the silver spangle #1 so ones other than that. 😀
Thanks!
