I’m glad you found the owners. I hope they are happy to have her back, and didn’t just let her go, though. Lately, it seems a lot of people who can’t afford their animals just let them go, or take them to shelters, instead of trying to find good homes for them. And there was a horrible story in our local news lately about a poor door that some vile people attacked with machetes!!! 🙁 The dog lived because he was saved by a nice man, and he lived. But here’s the thing…he was microchipped! And when they tried to tack the owner, they found out the name on the chip was fake and the address was a motel. Why on earth would you bother to chip an animal and then abandon it?!
We’ve rescued like 3 cats, and none of them were chipped. 2 of them were obviously abandoned as well. 1 baby was running at cars in the parking lots trying to get into one… 🙁 And the other was so friendly he just walked up to people, begging for pets. The kicker is that after we’d searched for his owners for like two months, gave up, got him his shots, and fixed, one of his owners, a little boy showed up, tried to take the cat back, and when we asked to speak with his mother, she said that the cat had “gotten out” and that they were moving to a place with no cats, and couldn’t keep him anyway, so we could have him. How “convienient” that the cat “escaped”?Keeper of the Fledgings
I actually ended up getting an FHA loan, and the mortgage guy couldn’t really explain to me what the difference between that and a conventional fixed loan was, only that the banks were giving a huge hassle about giving us a loan, even though I’ve got perfect credit, downpayment, etc, and FHA was just easier, albiet it takes a little bit longer. I know that doesn’t really help… 😕

Ever think of doing a silver bengal or a mau pattern? That would be gorgeous! And seconding? thirding? squeaking for the eyes shut flapper! Actual any flappers! Pyo flapper?! Love kitties almost as much as dragons….maybe more since I’ve got kitties! 😀

susie notified a bunch of us, but she said that hardly anyone she emailed got one. I guess people who were sitting on the store got lucky. She did say there would be more, though. If anyone who doesn’t want one sees it go in stock, and would be willing to grab one for me, let me know1 I’ll pay you for you help! Wants one sooo bad….
