Ski, This is the one I repainted. I went over the whole thing with Krylon primer, so the eyes do look weird.
I have antiqued, interferenced and now it is just drying before I take off the masking fluid. I’ll post updated pics in a while.
Oh, and yes, this will end up on ebay I think…
What do you think? Taking pics always helps me see where I need to touch up. This is done in pastels & some acrylic here and there.
Ok, so, be honest, tell me what you think!! Should I antique? Ok, I know I should, but I’m dreading it! I’m gonna do some gold interference too.
I think it depends on the sculpt & the paint job. For me, I like to do more natural colors. I haven’t ever seen a glossy shiny wolf…..ah, but then again I haven’t seen one with wings either 😆 . I have a dragon to do when I find the right colors, and he will absolutely be glossy.
Thanks! I think thats what you do, pastel, sealer, pastel , sealer, etc….Yes, that is a ‘matte’ sealer. I’m finding that matte really just means not ultra-neon reflective. I’m still on the hunt for a good matte spray.
This one is done in pastels, with acrylic accents. The orange is not really orange, it’s tan. I had a lot of fun with this one, but I got black pastel dust EVERYWHERE!! 😆 What are you gonna do, you know?
Hey, I’m new here, but why would your doctor give you trouble over a tubal ligation(sp?). Then you won’t have trouble with hormones etc…Maybe they have an age minimum? I do think your doctor should talk to you about ALL your birth control options!!
Geez, here it seems like they are jumping the gun to do hysterectomies. I had both my kids c-section. When I was on the OR table, getting prepped for my “emegency c-section”, the anestesiolo-whatever was like “So, you want a complete hysterectomy right?”…I’m like, “ah, no…This isn;t the time to bring that up”..DUH!!
I too see colors in the wings, but I bet it is just the way the light is hitting it. Can’t wait to see it done!!
It’s a sad situation all around. I feel bad the the birth of her daughter was overshadowed by the death of her son. I feel bad that her daughter is without a mother. As a parent myself, I cannot imagine what it would feel like to lose one of my kids or face the guilt of wanting to leave one of them without a mother.
It does show you that beauty and fame are not everything and do pale in comparison to love.
I am using the deco antiquing stuff that you mix your acrylic paint with. I’m having a hard time getting the stuff to stick to my PYOs. When I go to wipe off, it ALL comes off. So I leave it on longer and again, either too much comes off or it’s splotchy. Any tips? TIA!
I would leave neutral stating *Not in mint condition, no communication, excessive shipping charges*
Lets not forget tho that it is Shipping & Handling. Maybe part of the $24 was getting to the post office, buying one of thier overpriced boxes and bubble wrap or what not….BUT he should have stated this in the auction. The seller doesn’t seem like a great one!! Atleast it got to you in one piece.
