Oh, it was SO much nicer then our micheals!! They had everything I was looking for, plus some stuff I wasn;t!! I was SO claose to getting an airbrush but they only had one Iwata and when I went back for it, it was gone!! Oh well, next time! Got myself some unison pastels, some golden interference paints, some brushes at 70% off…Oh and some silver clay. So it was a prosperous and fun trip!!

They talk about how to palpate a bunny’s tummy to check for pregnancy.

I wonder if it was just dirty and the humidity made it sticky? Maybe it was around hairspray in it’s former home? Now that it’s dry, how does it look?

Is her belly soft and squishy or sorta firm when you gently press? Did the vet examine her at all?

Yup, I know the unicorns just don’t like me. I had a heck of a time w/ the first one and the second one just dried from having an acetone bath! Good thing for this forum or my lawn would look like a PYO graveyard!! 😆

It wasn’t intentional!! I went in for a touch up w/ a SMALL amount of acetone and bam, they loosened right up. I noticed after about 5 minutes and had to take them out…..

I finally got it back in!! I had to scrape a bit of paint out of the socket and it barely fit back in. *phew*

I can’t get the display side back in. It seems too big to fit. What do I do??

in reply to: What do I use to glue eyes back in? #594271

Just plain old white glue huh? I wouldn’t think it would be strong enough to hold onto glass. Guess I’ll go raid the kids art supply stash…Thanks!

5 minute epoxy or super strong crazy glue? Thanks!!

I get mine from Sally Beauty Supply, but I think you can get it at hardware stores too.

Ski, I’m so sorry to hear about your pooch!! Did the vet discuss asprin with you? My vet recommended we give our gal aspirin(non-enteric) once or twice a day in the winter if she seems slow to get around. She has arthritus in one of her back knees.

We didn’t have to give it to her this spring, but I’m sure we will come winter time.

Altho, maybe aspirin won’t help hip displaysia?

Anyway, I’m sorry for yah, it sucks when they get older!

I use acetone too, just straight pure acetone. An old toothbrush and some Q tips & cotton balls help too. You may also want to wear gloves of some sorta…Watch for the horn, the acetone will remove the paint, and doesn’t be suprised is the eyes come loose to.
