Well, I just got emailed back and they said the reserve on the Alchy is $149.00. Way too much! It would be nice to come to a deal on this piece that we could both be happy with.
This seller is getting to sound very cocky!! Thanks GB, I want the castle so much but I am not going to pay that high of a price. I’m not stupid. I’ve been collecting for about 11 years now and am not going to be taken advantage of! The most expensive castle is the merry ghost. It sold for $150.00. But it is the biggest one and it is very beautiful. I think I may wait for another to come up. Ravnheart, I don’t know how you feel about it but as far as I’m concerned she can find someone else to sell to!!!
She does keep changing her mind on her prices. It’s like shes getting different info from people about what she should sell them for but on a few of the pieces she is starting a bit high.
Yeah, I know what all of you mean. I’ve been waiting for her to list the Alchemists Tower so I emailed her about it and she told me soon. I saw it today and the starting bid is $129.00. I really don’t want to pay that much but I figured it is the last one I need so what the hell. I bid $130.00 and it said the reserve has not been met so I bid $135.00 and still said the reserve had not been met. I then emailed her to tell her that the price was a bit more then I had ever seen it go before. I told her I only paid $120.00 for my Castle of the Hawks and that the original listing price was only $88.00. I knoe the piece has been retired for a while but I don’t see it going for more than $120.00. The Castle of the Merry Ghost on ebay right now is only $75.00. So I asked her if she would tell me the reserve price and maybe we could work something out. Hell, shes not but 45 miles away from me I could go and pick it up and be done with it! How high would you guys pay for an Alchy Tower? Ok, done with my rant now! 😛
Yah, I saw her listing too. I’m just waiting for her to list the tower. MINE!!!! Its the last one that I need to finish my set.
Well, if you happen to buy any more, the em-pea is beautiful. I have him and the special gold which is also beautiful. Oh well hell! I love the scratcher so I love all the colors! I recommend them ALL!!!!!! 😀
I buy the em-peas, emeralds, and peacocks for my living room and I buy the golds and whites for my bedroom. I try and look for anything retired first (that is if I have a must have ich and just need to buy something) but if I can’t find a retired that I need I go for something that is not retired and easy to get. I pretty much buy what I like and hored all of my Windstones! 😈

I can’t find the painted samples (that were in one spot in a quiet room for years and now they are not there…) BUT I did find the other unused clay castle sculptures he did.

So I really shouldn’t show them without his permission (though I’m sure it would be fine with him) We’ve lost track of Gary, so we can’t easily get permission.. He’s moved, and we don’t have a way to find him, but we’ll keep trying
