That’s so cool! 😀
There’s so much detail in all your sculpts, and a certain whimsical, otherworldly quality to the shapes that you choose… I can’t wait to see more as you complete new projects. The whole situation must have felt very surreal for you, but fortunately no one was hurt.
I do hope that the damage wasn’t too bad though. Clearly that woman’s mind was elsewhere (and understandably so) and she was in a bad state — poor thing. 🙁
Everybody share your favorites!!
This one’s kind of bent: Click here!
(comic created by Alison Acton)I could easily imagine this comic being adapted as a show on Adult Swim or something. It sort of reminds me of when I was a teenager and all these different aspects of my psyche seemed to be fighting each other. 😆
Interesting fact: Both Katie Rice and Alison Acton worked with John Kricfalusi on Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon.
What a great idea for a topic! I’m in awe of you guys; I wish I could paint. 🙂
My DVR is perpetually full. XD
I have iO Digital Cable Service, so I get to watch movies on demand as well, including “IFC in Theaters.”
Interesting… By the way, I couldn’t get over how much the Streamline dub of My Neighbor Totoro was able to capture the feel of the original Japanese, especially when it came to the songs. It was something that I’ve only come to appreciate fairly recently upon hearing the Japanese version for the first time. The new Disney dub is entirely different.

Do you mean the original Japanese version? I don’t watch that much anime, so I haven’t seen The Last Airbender, but from what anime I have watched, I know that a poor quality dub can really ruin it for me. For instance, I love Hayao Miyazaki’s film My Neighbor Totoro, but I’ll only watch either the Japanese version or the English dub by Streamline. (Not Disney) I felt that the Streamline dub was more faithful to the style and inflection of the original Japanese readings. How do you guys feel about this stuff?
Avatar only looks like anime, it was created in the US for Nickelodeon, I believe. It was always in English; it’s not a dub as far as I know. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.
As for anime, I’m not ‘cultured’ in it enough to truly care, I guess. The only anime I watch is Inuyasha, and I’ve just never bothered to watch it in Japanese because…I don’t speak Japanese and I find that reading subtitles, I tend to miss what’s going on in the animation.
Sorry, 😳 as I said before, I’ve never watched it and know nothing about the show. Perhaps I should check it out, it has been popular enough to spawn a live-action film after all. Thank you for your quick reply. Gosh, I haven’t watched Nickelodeon since I was a kid, though I do own some old Nicktoons on DVD.Rusti wrote:Avatar’s two hour finale has got to be the best series wrap-up I have ever seen, bar-none. A Catz 1 calico kitten from 1995:
Note the simpler design and less advanced graphics. Only catz in Catz 1 look this way. From Catz 2 onwards, the games used the more complex and highly detailed designs with improved graphics pictured below. It wasn’t until Catz 3 and Dogz 3 however, that the petz could breed and produce unique offspring.A mixed breed catz:

Has anyone here tried The Sims 3?
