I’d like to add a Male Ki Rin to my list.

Yeah I saw the female/baby on ebay and have been watching them very closely (though I do prefer to buy Windstone pieces from forum members, rather than ebay). And I did talk to mmloda but her Ki Rin wasn’t in the condition I was looking for, so I’m still looking for a male right now.
And thanks for offering to keep a look out for the coiled male for me! I appreciate it. π

July 27, 2008 at 5:46 pm in reply to: Looking for Male Ki Rin and/or Emerald Coiled Male Dragon #725367I am looking to buy a Ki Rin, particularly a male. But I would also be interested in a female and/or baby. Must be in good condition. If you have one, please reply here or send me a PM and let me know how much your looking for.
I am also looking for an Emerald Coiled Male Dragon (its for a friend) so if anyone has one in good condition please let me know.
Thanks!EDIT: Just bought a mother and baby Ki Rin off of ebay, so I’m only looking for a Male Ki Rin now.
Damn! Why is it everytime I try to buy a Ki Rin, it never works out? Oy.
Thanks anyway kenzie.Stephanie wrote:That’s so sweet of you! Good luck finding one!
Thanks! Its the only thing I can think of to do for her right now.
Dragpn Master wrote:Good luck but how recent was it?? These are both VERY new editions to the Windstone family and the only Green Coiled’s I can imagine would be Emerald and did they even get made? The original greens only came out in the Curled and he sold out VERY fast
It was a few years ago, it wasnt a recent thing, shes just never been able to replace it.
kitsunelady wrote:I’d say it was probably an emerald coiled male. o.o I just bought one off ebay ( he looked like he needed rescuing), so I’d watch the auctions if I were you, if no one here is going to give theirs up. I see them on there every so often…at least once a month, I’d say? The Database would show. e.e Good luck!
Yeah it probably was an emerald coiled male. Thanks for the tip!
I have a new friend (well I’ve known her for a little bit but I am now really starting to get to know her) Anyway I recently had her over to my place and when she saw my Windstone collection, she told me that she used to have a Windstone piece (only one) and from her description it was either a green coiled dragon or a green curled dragon, but it was destroyed in a house fire, and she seemed like she missed it.
I’d like to find her another one, especially now as she is going through a very rough period and I think it would really cheer her up, and I was wondering if anyone had one they would be interested in selling and how much they would want for it.
Thanks a bunch!EDIT: Edited the title now that I know what I’m looking for.

Yeah very true haha. I wouldnt have really ever thought much about getting her a Windstone in the first place but we were talking about them one day and I mentioned something about the pink curlies and she just went nutty (she loves anything pink) and went off about how cool/cute that would be, and she was disapointed that they were all sold out. So thats why I got her one in the first place, but for whatever reason she just didnt care much.

Aww how sweet of you to offer hahaha! π

Good luck selling/trading/whichever.
They really dont. When she turned 18 and graduated I thought that now shes matured a little, she would be able to appreciate it. But I think she really would have just been happier with another designer purse.

Glad you didn’t give her the lap…
Good luck selling!
Yeah no kidding. He would be missing at least a horn or something. *eeep* I was surprised that there wasnt any damage to the curl. I gave him a thorough check too. Its too bad she didnt keep the box.
July 1, 2008 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Rescued Pearly Pink Curl for Sale! (Mint) EDIT: SOLD!! #719373SOLD
I have a pink pearly curlie for sale with green/straw eyes, its from the first batch and in mint condition (though it no longer has the original box, however he will be packed carefully and with love- double boxed too- Ive shipped several Windstones without their original boxes and all have made it to their new homes safely and in one piece).
I had bought the curlie for my youngest sister for a graduation present but she pretty much forgot about it and left it on the floor for who knows how long till my other sister found it and rescued it. (and surprisingly he didnt sustain any dings or scratches) So now I’m selling it and will just give her some of the money instead of watching her break a limited edition piece.
So I’ll leave this up for a little while and see what kind of offers I get. I’d like to start offers at $70.00 (and add in another $8 for shipping) Though I might be willing to trade him for a pink curlie with lavender eyes and keep for myself and just pay my sister out of my pocket.
Heres some pictures;
(pink lap not for sale, just the only other picture of the curlie I had on hand).
SOLD
I had regretted giving away the first Windstone I ever got, back when I was 14, my Grandpa bought me a peacock mother dragon and I gave it away (I had this wierd thing when I was a teenager and had to break up with somebody, I always felt bad and I would give them something, the mother dragon went to an old boyfriend for that reason haha) And I had regretted it so badly, so I bought another one last year. My grandpa wont ever know its not the same one haha.
And another one that I gave away to a different boyfriend during a breakup, was my white stone dragon candlelamp with the blue eyes. I still havnt replaced him and I really want to, I’ve been regretting that one for a long time.

Haha I know, I noticed that when I posted the pictures on the first page. If the person I was in high school saw all that pink they would have smacked me haha.

π π And yes, they do look sugary! Like cotton candy!
KoishiiKitty wrote:can some one take a photo of thier pink lap for the front and back? she looks soo pretty.
Sure!
Stephanie wrote:VampireBiscuits wrote:Jasmine wrote:I thought you were giving her the pink lap. Or are you giving both?
Haha well first I bought the pink curly for her. Then the pink lap came out and I thought that it would be a better present/she would like it more, so I bought it and planned to sell the pink curly to pay for the lap dragon.
BUT when the lap got here I realized I couldnt part with it (lol) and that my sister, who has a reputation for, well…not being the safest person to be around anything breakable, would be more likely to damage the lap (with its protruding horns and wings) than the rounder curly who would be safer around her haha.
Plus she just got a new kitten who could again, cause problems for the more fragile pieces on the lap.
So I decided to keep the pink lap, give her the curly and I’ll just end up paying for the lap out of my own pocket. πI love your logic! π Congrats!
I had to rationalize it somehow hahaha! Thanks! I love her, but my husband isnt feeling it yet. He’ll come around!
