i use a utility knife and my small wood carving chisels, i used to use those little saws but im too rough for em and the always snap off 😛

saddly i think Halloween , or trick or treating is going the way of the DoDo . i bought the bag of 120 candy bars and im sitting here eating my 5th butter finger with many more bars to go i think we saw 50 kids thats it 🙁 . This community is very pretentious and thinks trick or treating for the most part is below them , unless its at their church

we survived yet another Halloween 😀 . we didnt have too many kids this year so i managed to save some candy for me . This community is really weird it seems like every other year we have a tidal wave of kids , this year was the lesser amount . Here are some pics of Alyssa out front , we sat there till about 8pm talking with the neighbors ..it was a pretty good and chilly night . Next year is gonna be really different when we take Alyssa trick or treating for the first time 😯

between PD’s fairy shirt and Alyssa’s fairy costume every thing i own is covered in glitter
Every Halloween i MUST carve a Jack-O-Lantern , except for last year because my hands were to shakey to hold a knife with out cutting my own wrist . So this year i did a Dragon spitting fire ( its shaved not carved) and a two toothed one for Alyssa since she only has 2 . Also here is the one i did 2 years ago of a scare crow that is carved. Post the ones you have done this year or other years so we can get a little Halloweenie 😈 .

I get the shot every year , and i just got it Tuesday with no side effects, even if i recived a side effect i would still get it ; the flu would be a death sentence for me . Matter of fact the Palsy is pretty much gone i just have a bit more eye brow movement to go and im back to normal . It only took 3 weeks to get better , im glad it didnt take 6 months. I was on every kind of drug known to man from super doses to steroids to anti virals and strong anti-biotics to cover all the reasons for the palsy but they never really gave me an answer to why i got it
I played D&D in the early 80’s – 90’s with the origanal rules (i have a ton of first print Gary Gygax D&D books) , i tried the second gen rules and well its back assward to me . Sorry never touched the 3.0 – 4.0 i didnt even know there was such a new set of rules …why must they mess with things that arent broken

they carry salmanellia in their poop , I cant be exposed to that . no rodents no reptiles for the same reason , and no birds because of the dust. I cant even clean the cat box unless i suit up like there was a bio-hazard , so i encourage PD to do
i love rats , i wish i could get more but i cant have rodents any more 🙁 . I loved my fat Rat Momma Cass , but her room mate Nibbler decided to eat her while i was in the hospital 😕

So the doctor tells me at 3:45 Fri afternoon I have lung cancer but he can’t give me prognosis, treatment, basically any more info until I get a petscan. Which they called to get approved. Turns out that takes 48 hours. Which doesn’t sound like a lot of time but that’s not counting Sat and Sun. And everyday it’s a little harder to breathe. And it hurts more and more when I cough – and sometimes I cough so hard that I vomit. Not to mention that the pleural effusion is probably building back up. Plus I am stressed out of my mind – is my cancer treatable? Curable? 5 year prognosis? 10? Will I need surgery? Inquiring minds want to know!
Plus there is no point seeing the local oncologist until I have the scan results so they made me an appt on Nov 8th – yes, a week and a half from now. Again, whine, I really don’t know how I’ll be breathing by then. I can barely get through a day at work now. Had to have a friend foster my chinchillas since I couldn’t really take care of them.
So I contacted Sloan-Kettering today and am waiting a call back. Often times they seem to get the approvals needed and will do multiple things on the same day. Cross your fingers they can see me some time this week.
Funny thing is – I saw a cat Sat AM who was breathing hard. Did an XRay – cat had pleural effusion so immediately did a thoracocentesis. And I got the result back this afternoon by 3:30. Growl. I had to wait 4 days (and nothing would have been done over the weekend). Vets rule, insurance companies drool!
Sorry if this was whiny – I’m just feeling very frustrated right now. Once I have more info – and hopefully feel better – I’ll be much more able to cope.
your not whining , Insurance is a bunch of bull $h1t . I also know about the 48 hours crap , i was told that if a TX was available i would have to wait 48 hours to get it 😯 , when the organs only live for 12 outside of the body .
Before my TX i had to get a simple Xray ..so i thought . we went to radiology place where the insurance covers , and was turned away ..seems i have to go to one in the same county as my Doc and since he is one county over i had to go there ..unless it was an emergency 🙄 , and we all know Aspergillus is no emergency ( its a bacteria that eats your lungs)Long story short it took 8 hours to get an Xray , traveling all over not being able to breath little lone walk into the place , get undressed and stand there for them to shoot .
Also you should have a Social worker now , ask your doc who it is and get their number , they can usually get stuff approved with in the day . Thats what i had to do for Transplant since every thing was now now now. It doesnt fix every thing some stuff United Health Care wont budge on but we always had a way around that , over night admission and they cant deny any treatment your doc sees necissary

Yessir…we went to JC Pennies. I was originally going to go to Sears, but I didn’t think that the quality looked as well as JC pennies, but maybe they just show better pictures on their website?
we did Sears and they messed up our pics . They gave us a date then when i went to get them they said it would be another week . When my sister and I got pictures done of us for my mother they cut off the tops of our heads and they looked bad , so we stay with Pennies now too
