Thank you all for being so kind and welcoming. I got several great notes and emails and I really appreciate it. I hope everyone’s collection grows by leaps and bounds! Goodluck to you all.
LOL! Yep. SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!!
Proof they are signed since two people asked me. I laid them very very carefully onto the cloth and made sure they did not get any chips. 🙂CherokeeDR wrote:Yes, they are retired. It hasn’t been real long since they came out, usually you find older stuff like peacocks cheap, not something new like that or the person would know what they are worth
Well it was a whole house tag sale kinda thing. Where you can walk through the whole house and everything was for sale. Saddly these are mainly folks who have passed away and don’t have family close by. My guess is that the person hired to clear out the house had no idea they were valuble.
I have an offer of 200 and an offer of 225. I will sell for 250.

Thank you. I was delighted. I had seen them in stores before and knew they were rather expensive. I paid a great low price too so if they sell I should be able to help myself pay for a late summer vacation to ocean city. 😉
Interesting. Thank you for informing me. I will just find a place to host a picture and add a link then.
Hello-
Yesterday I found at a yard sale a set of three windstones. I googled them and found who they were, Hatching Emperor, Empress, and Kinglet in brown. They are signed and all but the kinglet have tags. That ones tag is missing. I don’t see any chips or anything. I noticed they are sold out on the main page here but were selling for 275 origonally. I really have no desire to keep them, I just want to sell, but was hoping to avoid ebay, since I have never used it and someone at work told me that people with no feedback don’t sell stuff well. I would like to go ahead and sell here if I can since I found this board with lots of collectors!
So anyway, I have paypal and I am willing to do the paypal hold thing (where paypal holds the money until I send proof of shipping) so even though I am new..I should be safe! I will take it to a packing place to have them shipped since they seem very delicate. I can get pictures up but not until tonight if you are interested. I would like to get the full 275 retail for them since they are retired according to the google search. Shipping will probably run about 20 dollars but I am guessing you guys are pretty firmilar with that. You can email me at lkuta1981@yahoo.com or note me here if interested. Thanks everyone!
I admire these sculptures very much, I am just not interested in collecting at this time. -
