No, she’s mine. However, if you would be interested, I can do another. You can pick out the wings and I can paint a kirin to match them. Was wanting to anyway, so another excuse won’t hurt. PM me if you’re interested.

They seem to be made of some kind of plastic laminate.
Only downside is that the back of the wings are without detail, but since you really don’t look at the back I guess it is okay, but I was a little disappointed the pattern wasn’t on both sides.

I’ve painted that phoenix a few times, but never kept one for me, now I’m sorry.
I do the same thing with the checking out the books someone has thing. I am also guilty of having all the ones you have that I could see. LOL!
Great collection, I guess I should get off my butt and take pics of mine, but I wanna wait until I have my curio cabinet, oh wait till you guys see the curio cabinet…oh is it ever purty!

Yeah, when I saw the wings on eBay, I had to have them, they just matched so well.

But be warned…mine anyway did NOT sell well on ebay. I only covered the cost of my wings and PYO and got paid nothing for the work.Yeah, I saw that. I am not sure if I really want to go that route, but then it would be fun to do another with the paint job specifically designed around the wings chosen.
Though these wings were chosen for this particular kirin based on their colors. The glitter isn’t quite as loud in person, but pictures and reflected light make it show a bit more.
Overall I am very pleased with the look, especially since my Kyrin avatar is winged…yep, red hair, green eyes, and wings…so adding these made sense to me, since this kirin was painted to match the avatar.
I really don’t expect to make money selling PYOs on eBay, mostly I am just looking to break even so I can buy more PYOs. So I can keep painting them..but not end up with an army on my shelf.

Well here is my winged kirin…I think she looks terrific!
Oh and BTW, you CAN drill into a Windstone with a hand drill without hurting it.
Let me know what you guys think.
She’s my personal kirin, but I am thinking of getting more wings and doing another to match the wings, think it would do well on eBay?
Also, Whippet, let me know if borrowing your idea is a problem.

Hubby is a Horse, funny thing…Taurus and Aquarius are supposed to be incompatible, but Dog and Horse are 98% compatible, so figure that one out. 17 years and counting.
Also, all previous serious boyfriends before hubby were also Taurus, all born sometime in May…even weirder, huh?

😈 Congrats GB and DC…GB for getting the dragon, and DC for painting him. Course I had a sneak peek, I am soooo bad.
But he’s a cool little dragon, DC and I were talking about doing one similarly using a poison arrow blue frog and a blue butterfly of some type.
I think she could pull it off.

I look forward to more pics of Kujacker’s dragon, unfortunately the photos now don’t show too much, but I think I can see where the purple highlights are. I hope the person who got him can get some better shots.
Don’t you just hate it when the camera won’t cooperate?
At least with a digital you know it isn’t working right and can keep trying. But it is still frustrating, especially if you try and it still doesn’t work.
I really look forward to seeing all the cool PYOs as they come out. So far they are all really great.

Here is the griffon I did for Leader of the Flocks.
She just emailed me a little while ago and apologized for the confusion, she thought she had to wait until the deadline to post.
So we should be hearing from her soon, but since I had pics available, she asked me to post. Perhaps she can add more later.
I based him on a red-shouldered hawk, and I will tell you, those are tough…lots of banding.
I added a front view, so you could see what I meant when I said it had lots of banding.

rusti, you are right, i shouldn’t let one person make me stop completely. i did check the feedback. no one complained about the shipping costs. 🙁
however, i do need to get my buying under control. part of it is stress buying, and i should spend my time working on my thesis.

I had no wish to make you feel bad, it was my own fault, I figured shipping would be the same for the dragon as it was for the winged wolf, but apparently the slightly bigger box and packing materials upped it a bit more than I expected. My fault, not yours.
Anyway, do try to restrain your buying if you really are overdoing it. I know I had to as well.
