Well she’s up on eBay. If anyone here is interested, that’s where you’ll find her.
Good luck.

The bongo picture, or the one with them together?
Kyrin
I don’t know, 18% is really high, if you won it for $50, you’ll pay another $9 in fees, not counting shipping…can’t see as it would be worth it.
So your $50 win could end up costing $75…ouch!
Too rich for my blood.

It’s funny that you’re working on the stippy animal schemes; I’m in the midst of finishing something based on the okapi. I’m hoping to be able to post this week.
I had considered the okapi, but I thought the antelope would be more exotic.
Antelopes in general have really striking markings.
I am now out of unicorns…darn it!

I would be happy to give it a shot.
PM and we can iron out the details.

She’s going up on eBay, unless you want to make an offer now.
Or I could put her in the Flea Market.
Kyrin
I wish I could offer now but I’m still waiting on the outcome of a coiled mother dragon before I can purchase anything else. 😥That’s okay, I can set the offer taking to be a few days past when your auctions end, if you want.

Here’s a unicorn patterned after the bongo antelope. I think she’s adorable.
Definately different.

Pam Thompson wrote:Hope you are feeling better… So they think it was a staff infec. and not spiders?
I’ve never heard of a hobo spider either. They look almost identical to brown recluse. To the untrained eye, harmless (and quite common) grass spiders can look very much like hobo or recluse spiders.
I am a spider lover, sorry guys. I have grass spiders, recluse, and who knows what else running around in my room. On rare occasion, I have woke up to a recluse crawling accross me. It’s scary, but so far, I have never been bit. I love them, as they keep the general insect population down. I can stand the spiders, but I don’t care for the bettles and bugs that get in. Since I stopped killing recluse, I have almost no free ranging insects in my room! They think it could be a combination of spider bite with a secondary staph infection on top of it.
I don’t really have any big issues with spiders, however, if there are ones within my home that are capable of doing this kind of tissue damage and harm, I don’t want them in the house. I especially don’t want them possibly harming my children.
Saw the doctor today, he thinks it should heal up within a week, so I may be able to return to work by Thurs next week.
Overall it is looking pretty good, definately a lot better than it did on Sat. night.
Thanks for all the encouragement guys, it really helps.

Do I have to wear a stupid costume with my boobs sticking out? I didn’t just say that.(You can tell I’ve got a bad take on Ren fairs)
No, you can come as a mundane. But it is alot of fun in costume too. And not everyone lets their boobs hang out…you can wear costume and still be modest if you wish. The guys will be disappointed, but they will survive. *grin*
I wish I could be there, that was our homeground. *sigh* I like the temps, I wish it was that cool here! Go, have a good time!
Take lots of pics for those us who can’t come.

Yeah, just got a roaring sentinel and hyena gargolyes for $95 and that included shipping, because both were broken. But not badly, once I am done you will never ever know. Yay for eBay and asking questions.
So now I’m cured…just need the hand to know that. LOL!

Just mail him to me, and I’ll fix him just for the shipping (here and return) for this one, since this one is so special.
PM me for address.

DarkLadyPhoenix wrote:Whhaaaa? >.< Where's the catch? lol. That sounds like a wonderful trade. Where can I send him 😀
No catch, I’ve been wanting one I could repaint, but I just couldn’t do it to a rare that was unblemished.
I had considered getting a cheap emerald somewhere, but yours will do.
PM me.

A further update from today.
Wound is looking better, swelling has gone down considerably, and the redness is only extending to a little past my thumb joint. Pain is reduced quite a bit as well, and they are having me change my bandages now.
I see a doctor on Tues, rather than keep visiting the ER, which is good. I’m tired of the ER, but when you need daily care on the weekend, that is your only choice.
They upped my oral antibiotic, and stopped the IV one. So that is good.
Overall I am feeling a bit more optimistic that this will heal quickly and not do too much permanent damage to my hand. Doctor told me it will probably take about 2 weeks to be fully recovered though. So that’s gonna hurt in the paycheck department.
Meanwhile, last week we got a Toyota 4Runner for a steal, and all that is wrong with it is that the numbnuts who rebuilt the heads didn’t adjust the lifters, and that requires shims, so we will be ordering the correct shims tomorrow and with luck by next weekend I will have a shiney new vehicle to drive! It’s not really new, but considering my old car blew up in Jan. and I haven’t had my own car since, I am still estatic.
We did good too, got the 4Runner for $1500, and only had to put in about $400 in a new radiator, the shims, various belts and oil change stuff to get it running right. With all the features this truck has, it is worth $3000, so we did really good.

I’ll trade you straight across, my jade for yours. Mine is mint, and really is jade, not emerald.
I’ve been wanting to do a koi oriental, but I didn’t want to repaint one that was okay.
Let me know.
