You have to have a dremmel, and even then, you get plastic dust everywhere, you have to wear a facemask so you don’t inhale the dust, and it reeks of burnt plastic smell. To me it wasnt worth th effort, though I may try one more time so that I have my contest winner pattern forever.
Hmmmm, I did 7 of the fake ones this year and all I used was a sharp exacto knife and some elbow grease and it seemed to work fine 😕 I’ll put up pics once I do them.
I keep a binder with a copy of any pattern that I’ve done so that I can reproduce it or have it forever.
Hmm… maybe I got a defective one, the “skin” was really thick and hard to carve, maybe I’ll try again. I also keep a 3 ring of all my patterns, that’s funny!!
I agree with evryone, mac n cheese, (my husband loves it when I make it, says I make it better) grilled cheese and soup, but I love my Mom’s soup, she calls it “Sick soup” it’s basically tomato soup with ditalini and a bunch of spices and stuff. I love it. I’m partial to progresso hearty penne for when I feel bad, which is now, I have a terrible cold.
I also live like ten minutes away from The Headless Horseman, which is like America’s #1 halloween attraction, it was even on the travel channel, and Emeril Live! tapes there every year, it’s very cool!

yes, the one in the left corner is eating a smaller pumkin
here’s a Maleficent pumpkin I did for my grandma’s house
I think I might get the fake carvable pumpkins from Michaels this year and try them out…anyone ever use them? Are they any good? I wonder if you can put candles in them….
I am a super pumpkin carver myself, I’ve actaully won a contest with my raven on a skull one, i can’t seem to find the cd with my pumpkins on it, and last year I did a really great one with a skull and clock scene that I have to download off my cell phone, I did try the fake ones from michaels and they were a nightmare. I love the pumpkin masters books, and i have carved almost all of the ones Mimi did, It’s nice to have a fellow lover of pumpkins. Halloween/Samhain is huge in our house, though were in an apartment this year and can’t really decorate. My parents go crazy, we have like 25 tombstones with epitaphs on them that are awsome, as soon as we buy a house, I’m going crazy with it. I also have lots of haloween things in my house all year, It’s kinda par for the course, with me being a witch and all!!!
How about Ronin? or Cavelier? he looks very princly
I’m keeperoftruth on ebay, never have enough money to play with you guys though! 😀
