Sometimes it sucks living on the opposite side of the continent…
I know the only conventions I’ll be hitting this year with possibly be AWA in Atlanta and NekoCon here in Virginia.
Though it does sound like so much fun if the majority of us could meet anywhere!
Oh, WOW! She’s so shiny beautiful!! I really love the colourations and they go so well together.
As for crystals, here’s a great site I use for Swarovski beads and rhinestones. They have the best prices I’ve seen! http://www.artbeads.com/index.html
purplecat– Lol, yeah I did have to take few breaks, but more breaks due to having to let the compressor cool off after several hours.
Arlla–Yes, my very first! I almost didn’t give him up ’cause he was such an accomplishment. And I really want to see you in action with an airbrush, since your paintjobs are just beautiful!
I love your paintjobs too, tc-cat!

I sure do! Though, he’s already gone to a new home several months ago! 1377 gives the best view of the feathers atop his head.

I dunno about other brands, but I like my Iwata Eclipse HP-BCS gun and Iwata Sprint Jet compressor.
The HP-BCS is pretty much a basic airgun, but if you practice with it enough you can get pretty fine details with it. I was able to airbrush the ridge of each feather on the head of the PYO griffin and he turned out lovely. It’s also very easy to clean.
Iwata is an excellent brand, and I also hear Badger is too.
I agree it being the hatching kinglet. 🙂
No broken bones or stitches for me, yet.. *knocks on wood*
I remember splitting my lips open when I fell off the top bunk bed when I was 7.
When I lived up in Annapolis, I stepped on a large piece of glass in the garden my family had on the naval base. I can certainly say the trip to DC wasn’t as fun that following week…stupid crutches were so uncomfortable.
Annnnd in high school I tripped while going up the bleachers after getting an agility award in PE, so I bruised my ribs. Haha, oh the irony in that day.I know something’s coming one day, I can feel it! I’m running on some good luck I suppose. :’

And here’s another size chart you can just stick the gems up against your monitor and judge:
http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-tools/WJU/techniques/measures/pg13.htmI use it all the time and figured out the different eye sizes on most of the sculps

I have a digital Canon 400D SLR brand New 😀 and a couple of lenses. I usually use my little sony cyber shot (100 Years old) My Grandad gave me a Brand new (never used) 30 year old film Olympus a few Days ago. I love photography 😀Aww, you have the one I want to upgrade to!! I still have a Canon EOS Rebel XT, but I plan to get the 400D in the near future~~~.
And lol, sounds like my Dad, he gave me his 1976 35mm ASAHI Pentax camera. Still takes beautiful pictures!I think I’ve seen one like the one in the middle image before..but a long time ago.
They’re still very pretty though I’ve found nothing on them through google, just the old 1980’s white onesEEEE! How much are you looking to get for Huckleberry??????? 😯
I use rubbing alcohol and Q-tips.
Dip the q-tip and dab where you want to remove paint, you have to give it a few moments, then you can rub it off with your finger or an old toothbrush.
That’s how I work. 🙂
Thanks again everyone!!
