Hey here’s one back on UPS for you—
I live in a very small rural area where we are on a first name basis with most folks, including the UPS driver. Shortly after I moved here, ~3yrs ago, I ordered crickets for my Bearded Dragons, as usual. It is a 70 mile drive from the UPS station to my house and I guess the guy was not too careful with the box. Soon he discovered he had about 500 crickets jumping around in his van!
He’s been very careful with all of my boxes ever since! 😆Oh Purple! Please know that there are a lot of folks pulling for you out here!

Good advice about the flea dip. Another care item you don’t want to go cheap on is vaccines. Years ago I bought some generic vaccines, with 7 to 10 cats most of the time, I need to vaccinate them myself. Well one old girl went into anaphylactic shock on me because of the generic. That turned into a nasty vet bill and I learned a scary lesson. Luckily Rosie was OK and I haven’t had any more problems with the vaccines, no more generic.I think that sounds like an idea! I am swamped for the next week or so, but as soon as I find my shipping casualties I’ll let you know. 🙂

Yep! Another BG OW owner! I think thats 3 on here so far… What number did you get?
He is 5/24. As far as his final auction price is concerned, I admit to a little insanity, (my son threatened “Committing me”). Oh well, that part is Over-Done-Forgotten and I feel so lucky and proud to have him!

Medusa, you will no doubt find this strange, but it seems that cats like the taste of Windstones.
I’m not kidding you, I don’t remember if it was discussed here or on the livejournal, but Melody’s cats did in fact eat some of the dragons noses!
Chessie posted pictures. Maybe that’s what happened to your dragon…

To be fair it was partly my fault. We had just moved into this house and I just wanted to put a few of the WE out so the place felt like home. I had not yet “Cat Proofed” the room. Now they no longer have access to that room. The thing that bugged me the most was that I never found any of the broken pieces, none, no chips, chunks, dust, nothing, just the poor little dragon with her head off. Cats are strange.Here are my Windstones. My flash kept reflecting off the mirror behind the curio cabinet, so I had to take them out to take pictures. I broke them up into colored Windstones, whites, and PYOs. Does anyone recognize their PYOs?

Thanks for the sympathies! I was surprised to see that so many collectors have had the same problems, sympathy and hugs all around.
The Flion was sent back and the Seller refunded my money. She was actually quite upset about it, I can’t say that for the other Sellers. I put the Mama Unicorn in my collection anyway, hey we all have some infirmity! She is the only damaged piece on display. The little egg guys are stored in a box around here somewhere. Along with a Mama Peacock dragon that survived shipping OK however the extent of her damage had not been disclosed by the Seller. That was not a fun experience. Oh yeah, and my ever lovin cats managed to take the head off of my Coiled Peacock dragon. I never did find the head and the cats have been banished from that room.
