I like both, but like the lighter better for the eyes. depends on what you’d use it for tho really. πŸ™‚

Both are lovely, but I prefer the lighter one cause you can see the left eye better.

The play of light and shadow are far more interesting to me in the first than they are in the second. I love shadows, especially on cats. They create so much dimension and texture and dynamics in an image and saturation is overrated. Ignore the color for a moment and make them both grayscale and see which one is more interesting to your eye. I’ll bet money it’ll be the first one.

I like the first one – the shadows add such mystery!

I like the shadows in the first one too, though I doo find the dark left eye a bit disconcerting.

Personally I prefer the original but the owner might prefer the lighter one since you see her more.
I’m printing the picture to frame it and present it as a gift to the owner.
πŸ™‚ She will be surprized since this female cat is very hard to photograph….She forever moves! 😑
This shot was taken between her gasilian rolls on the white fur carpet in the living room.
All the other shots are just blurs of movement. πŸ™„

Here is another shot I was hoping this one would be sharp but it’s not clear…I only got the far end of her face and part of the eye clear. πŸ™„

They are all nice pictures! I really like the darker version with the shadowing around her,
                that is really nice.

That cat sounds like she’s the feline counterpart to my dog. Sit still? What’s that?

For your purpose, I’d go with the second one.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

The top version seems more ‘artsy’ but the owner probably would prefer a clearer view of her pet. That’s my guess, anyway! πŸ™‚

Of the 2 I prefer the 2nd one BUT I LOVE the 3rd one you posted the BEST

I guess it depends on what your friend likes… Would she be more appreciative of the ‘art’ piece? Or would she like a nice representation of her pet? Personally, I like the first shot the best – but there you go, I’m weird in other ways too! πŸ˜€ 😈 😈
