People are such …. 😡Same thing happen to my ex but the car was so damage that the guy could drive away with it. But he did manage to walk away. The cops picked him up a little farther down the road piss drunk.
He hit the side of the house and that wall had a bed againts it with two adults sleeping. Talk about a rude awakening!
The house was badly damaged and the fondation and celling cracked.
They had to redo half the house.😮 Wow. That must really suck.

I hate to say this, but hit and RUN? I’m mildly impressed (the car should not have been able to drive after that)….
But still…. that’s on top of the disgust I have for the person which is more then the impressedness.

We had a guy drive into the side of our house (more like rolled… he couldn’t have been going more than 10 mph). He seizured because the doctors decided to change his seizure medicine to try a new medication (he had been doing well on the other stuff). He sat through 3 green lights and didn’t realize it… what is most impressive is he managed to drive the car between a power and a light pole (barely a car’s width) to drive down the sidewalk, with no scratch on either pole or the car!). He did however managed to scare the hell out of my brother, who was sitting on the front step (the car came to rest at the corner of the house next to the front step)! Cracked a support beam for the house, but considering it’s a large piece of oak about as wide as I am, it was more like a tickle (gotta lover really old houses!). Just killed some of the shingles though (moved some from the back of the house to the front to cover the damage. The other guy lost his license for at least 6 months because of the doctor’s whim to try something new with his medication. His dad was able to help us out with what happened, since his son was a little out of sorts still. 🙁 The car wasn’t terribly damaged. Definitely made a thud to the house – I was in it when it happened! That was totally unintentional though.
Still… hit and run to a house! WTF?!?!
I regret to say that this happened to my parents neighbor!
Late at night a drunk 18-wheeler drove into and through their enclosed front porch and into their living room! Completely destroyed the porch and part of the house. I’m talking tens and tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage! Because he was going slow and had such a large vehicle with so much torque, it didn’t overly damage the truck and he had enough wits to back out and keep going down the road (though they did find him later that night passed out, geez).
