I’m not sure if I should post this here under community or under General Windstone.
THANK YOU to everyone that donated to get me my gold curlie dragon. It was not expected at all. DDVM the card was very nice as well. I also now have a purple fuzzie with gold eyes which is one of my favorite color combinations.
I was really not expecting anything but between the flowers and my new and FIRST gold dragon you have made me feel loved. Much more then work or my charity work. We had our meeting last night and I was able to say how I feel that no one contacted me to see how I’m doing and I learned tha my Ms. lost her father about a month ago and NEVER told anyone. I guess she is dealing with her own grief. I think this is the fisrt year EVER that both title holders lost parents during their year.THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE!!
It was good and bad. I felt GREAT when opening that box but I also found a Franklin Mint dragon to replace one I broke a scale off of and it also got to me this morning but the tail broke off in shipping so I had a good and bad shipping experience this morning. The gys was stupid. It’s the guardian of the Fortress by Michael Whelan. He wrapped it in foam paper stuff and taped it then put it in the box with nothing but some newspaper. I sent him an e-mail as soon as I opened it and saw it was broken and all I got back was II thought I packed it ok and it was insured”. With all the horror stories I have heard here about insureance I’m not sure if it’s worth going after especially with everything else I’m going thru right now.
I have also ordered and got shipping confirmation on my OW shirt I have ordered to wear when I’m in Chicago at my contest. I can’t wait to get him on my chest to show off.

Sweet. Maybe after you step down, you will be able to spend more on Windstones of course after you settle a little. 😀
after things get settled with my mom and I get that money I may just have to get one or both of the Emperor’s I’m missing so at least the BIG Dragons will be home. I need another display case also
Oh that’s great about the curlie. 😀 Sorry about the other dragon though. That must be hard. I hate dealing with the ones who think “oh I thought I packed it well.” 🙄 Well, if you did then wouldn’t it have shown up in one piece? (Sorry just cranky right now.)I hope the insurance works out for you. But if it was packed like that it’s unlikely. But, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. 😀

well it’s close to losing both my grandma , her mom, passed away last May 28th so this is my first yeat without either to send a card to

I only have 1 curlie left now too. The Black Gold is next on the list since it’s one of the cheapset ones left that I needOh, that is awesome, you got your first production gold dragon! It was very sweet of people to do that 🙂 I’m very happy for you DM 😀
Thank you I was very happy this morning when I get him. One more curlie and who knows how many more gold and Em Pea ones to go???
