Sorry anonymous sculptor of this piece, but if you’re going to sculpt the cheek feathers that way, it’s going to be obvious where you got your *cough*inspiration*cough*cough* from. It was a distinctive style even among all the other Windstone griffins.

I see lots of rip offs in the UK and a few on ebay but should i mention them to John? Our laws are not as great as your in this respect so there is nothing to stop someone copying a concept.

Woof! Those are some pretty tasteless “copies”… it wouldn’t be so bad if there were not damn near in the same pose. The wings are different and so is the head a little BUT yek! 😕

Yeah, that was something good to laugh at…The first batch had fledgie-like heads and the body stiles of the adults. The second well, the first one, maybe, but the second one, blatent. Sheesh! I don’t know if I would be flattered that someone wanted to copy me, or horrified as to how badly they represented my works if I was Melody. 😛
