Well, I left a message on seller’s answering machine…. Big surprize, nobody home π‘ . I then opened a dispute with PayPal. Here’s to hoping…..
January 22, 2009 at 9:18 pm #749563Good luck with that, purpleturtle – hopefully Paypal will come through for you, if the seller doesn’t.
January 22, 2009 at 11:49 pm #749564Thanks π !
January 23, 2009 at 6:52 pm #749565You got to freaking kidding me :shout: . Durining this whole ‘missing’ Emerald Scratcher episode I happened to find a sweet deal for a Peacock Lap on ebay. She was only 35 dillars BIN. The thing was she had some damage, kinda minor and repairable so I figured what the heck. The seller sent her out, gave me a tracking number – that does work – and everything was cool. According to the number my Lap dragon was in Massachusetts yesterday. I live in Maine so that means I usually get it the next day. Not to be. So I checked the tracking #….
It just left freaking Kansas today! That’s going the wrong freaking way!!! WTF π‘ !! Well, at least I can track this one. Does that happen often? The package was sent parcel post.
Sorry to bug you guys with this π³ . I know I could have more serious issues to worry about. I guess I just needed to rant π³ .January 23, 2009 at 9:59 pm #749566I’ve had that happen. Winstone sent out a package and it usually goes through Michigan, checked to tracking and it was sent back to Oregon and then through Vancouver. Which is totally the wrong direction. But it got here, that’s what counts. At least you have a tracking number that works.
January 23, 2009 at 11:23 pm #749567I had that happen with my collection of L. K. Hamilton books I bought on eBay…the seller and I had a good laugh, cause those books covered most of the states in their efforts to arrive here. We were glad we had tracking, but it was weird, it hit SLC, Nv, which means it would be here the next day, and then boom, it was in Arkansas, we were like, WTF? But it did finally get here, if rather round about.

January 24, 2009 at 12:50 am #749568Thanks – that makes me feel better knowing that it happens sometimes π .
January 24, 2009 at 1:18 am #749569I remember my math teacher ordering something for our class in highschool and it went to every single Valleyview in North America before it came to us. Apparently there’s about 6 of them…. π It was kinda funny at the time.
Then, 6 months later, we ordered a kangaroo skin hat for my grandfather (he lost his, and loved it) and that one also went to a bunch of Valleyviews before coming to us. Including a couple in Europe.
So parcels do get lost eventually. Lately mine have all been going to Vancouver (the border check stuff) before coming to me. But at least it gets here in only one Edmonton stop. Haha.
January 24, 2009 at 3:28 am #749570‘Ack’ is an excellent description! Yikes.
For what it’s worth, my stonefinish griffin and unicorn camped out for ten days at a UPS place just twenty miles from my house before finally arriving. So, it happens.
Congrats on the deal though! π
January 24, 2009 at 4:27 am #749571OMG…what is wrong with our postal system?
I had the same happen to me…it came from Florida but for some reason traveled all the way to Vancouver and came all across Canada to reach me in Quebec…WTF?
Wish I could have been attached to that package…would have traveled. 8) LOLJanuary 24, 2009 at 5:17 am #749572Sounds like it’ll still come to you, purpleturtle. Congrats on the great buy!
January 24, 2009 at 6:25 am #749573Ugh, waiting for Windstones to arrive is excruciating enough, now you have to watch it take a cross country road trip =(

I wish you could teleport Windstones directly to your home LOL. No waiting, no worries about damage, etc. Just go to the store on-line, pay and then click on a button that says “send” and POOF! There’s your pretty Windstone, instantly π .
I need to go to bed – I’m getting ‘silly tired’ π .

IVE had that happen! my first lap dragon took a trip in the wrong direction. the day it was saposed to arrive it was in the next big city north of me.
January 24, 2009 at 5:50 pm #749576Well – i got I finally got hold of the seller. appaently they were out o town due to two recent deaths in the family π₯ – hence why they wern’t responding to my e-mails. The post office didn’t remail the item in the mean time because the seller apparently needed to repay the shipping because of the seller’s first screw up and the Post Office didn’t bother telling them that π . That made the tracking number ‘non-existint’. The package had been sitting in the post office that whole time! The seller took the dragon home and unpacked him and made sure he was okay and says they will mail him via UPS today. I feel sort an ass now – in the back of my head I new it was a post ofice screw-up or something, but I just did’nt know on my end what was going on  . But I’m glad it’s settled, but stil, I feel quite sheepish…
