My computer will be disabled for about 8 days while we run a special program to try to save my data. So I will be coming on here sporatically and for short periods. Just leave me PM’s and I’ll grab them when I can. I guess the upside is that I will have little excuse to not be working on stuff. Anyway, have a good weekend, and I’ll keep you posted on the great data recovery. Kyrin July 18, 2008 at 9:08 pm #723770 JasmineParticipant Oy! Not good. Hope you can retrieve everything. 🙄 July 18, 2008 at 9:09 pm #723771 BDWParticipant hope you retreive your art too! 🙁 July 18, 2008 at 9:12 pm #723772 StephanieParticipant Are you using Spinrite? That’s the best program out there for hard drive recovery. July 18, 2008 at 9:18 pm #723773 LaurieParticipant 😀 Glad to see you figured out your hubby’s computer. Remember, if you need to pass on a message, just let me know. 😉 July 19, 2008 at 2:24 am #723774 purpledragonclaw Sorry to hear that, Kyrin! I hope you can save everything! Do you have any data backed up, like on a flash drive, external hard drive, or CD-ROM? July 19, 2008 at 4:44 am #723775 Katherine Oh no! I hope you have backups!! July 19, 2008 at 4:55 pm #723776 Shawna No, no backups, but yay for Spinrite! It saved most everything! And didn’t take 8 days, thank God, I would have gone bonkers. So I’m back up, still need to reload a bunch of proggies, and do those backups, but at least everything I need this second works! Kyrin July 19, 2008 at 8:11 pm #723777 purpledragonclaw Congrats! That’s great news! I hope you get back to full working order soon! July 19, 2008 at 9:17 pm #723778 darjebParticipant Congratulations I am glad everything went OK for you July 20, 2008 at 12:12 am #723779 StephanieParticipant Kyrin wrote: No, no backups, but yay for Spinrite!
