My computer hard drive took a huge dump. My computer will be disabled for about 8 days while we run a special program to try to save my data.

So I will be coming on here sporatically and for short periods. Just leave me PM’s and I’ll grab them when I can.

I guess the upside is that I will have little excuse to not be working on stuff.

Anyway, have a good weekend, and I’ll keep you posted on the great data recovery.

Are you using Spinrite? That’s the best program out there for hard drive recovery.

Sorry to hear that, Kyrin! I hope you can save everything! Do you have any data backed up, like on a flash drive, external hard drive, or CD-ROM?

No, no backups, but yay for Spinrite! It saved most everything!

And didn’t take 8 days, thank God, I would have gone bonkers.

So I’m back up, still need to reload a bunch of proggies, and do those backups, but at least everything I need this second works!
