I get up this morning after working all night and I see these little winged bugs all over my window. I go outside and they are all over the side of my house π― I’m so upset because I know its going to cost a fortune to get someone out here and spray.
April 14, 2007 at 4:37 pm #562051Hold on…are you sure they are termites? Many kinds of ants grow wings just for a few days to mate or move and then they shed them later. Maybe they are just ants!?!
and read the whole page…it seems swarms of termites do not mean they are eating your house!
April 14, 2007 at 4:41 pm #562052I get those winged ants inside my windows every summer. The cure is called a vacuum cleaner.

April 14, 2007 at 4:50 pm #562055Sorry to hear that, purpledoggy. π Any chance they’ll go away by themselves?
April 14, 2007 at 4:53 pm #562056Maybe if I talk real nice they will go bug someone else?
April 14, 2007 at 4:54 pm #562057π If only your Windstones could go after them.
April 14, 2007 at 5:58 pm #562058Might I suggest a counter-swarm of green anoles? Those little guys can wreck havoc on flying insects… 8)
π Too bad that’s not realistic. My uncle in Florida had termites and before they sprayed there were about fifty itty bitty lizards having a feast on the side of his house.
Hope you get rid of them without getting rid of all your savings!
April 14, 2007 at 11:55 pm #562059I have 7 anoles, you can borrow them if you want. (they take care of the flys in the summer too) π
April 15, 2007 at 2:14 am #562060Ugg, that stinks! We just found out we have a termite problem at my work and I think that is going to be interesting. I’ve already been anjoying a stompfest. π
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
April 16, 2007 at 3:07 pm #562061Ok so I got someone out to my house to do a termite inspection and tell me if the termites are coming from my house and how much it will cost to get rid of them. The guy comes out here, asks me where I saw them and says yeah you have termites its gonna cost $750 to get rid of them. He does’t even look around my house! Just ok you saw them so that means you have them. π I thought they would at least look at the walls tap on the side of the house or do something! Blah and I lost my dragon last night which is a good thing but I’m in a mood today. /sulk
April 16, 2007 at 4:20 pm #562062Awww…im sorry π I didnt think it would cost that much.
