Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
October 13, 2008 at 1:46 am #736145There are a couple of people out there with awfully inflated ideas of the value of their dragons!
$219 for a White male (250305883486)?
$175 for an Emerald mother (260297493447)?
$150 for a small flapcat(250306798939)?
$149 for a white young unicorn (180295932180)?
I think $275 for a large Peacock wizard is a bit excessive, too (250299608399)!And they’re all from *different* sellers! Am I crazy, or have all the sellers gone crazy?
(Numbers in parentheses are auction numbers — c/p them into the search box of Ebay’s main page and it will take you directly to the auction, if you just can’t believe your eyes seeing those prices in this post.) 🙂

October 13, 2008 at 2:42 am #736146Well, the flapcat is for both the birdwing and the batwing. So $150 is not too bad. They only have a pic of one of them, so it looks like it’s just the one, but it says in the auction that you’ll get both.
The White Young Unicorn price is ridiculous, though, considering it’s still current in production and sells for $69 new.
October 13, 2008 at 3:09 am #736147Large Peacock Wizards sell in the online store for $268… so $275 isn’t that far from it..
and for someone that doesn’t know about the online store.. it’s probably a good deal..
October 13, 2008 at 5:16 am #736148It’s BTWedding, their prices have ALWAYS been pretty high…They are also members of the forum but I don’t know how often they post…
October 13, 2008 at 5:59 am #736149Yeah, sometimes a bit high, I agree. But, I have gotten things from them and always they have been very nice. Their auctions are truthful, and they ship quickly. If people have the extra money and are desperate for the piece they will pay it. 😯 But that is their choice. 😀 I got my Green Emperor from them. I do believe it was for $525 (maybe $575) and some change. He is mint, and absolutely beautiful. I am glad I got him. I also got a Castle of the Hawks from them and a young Brown dragon. All of them are mint. 😀
Oh yeah, and one big positive for them…They know how to pack a Windstone! 8)October 13, 2008 at 6:11 am #736150WindstoneCollector wrote:Yeah, sometimes a bit high, I agree. Oh yeah, and one big positive for them…They know how to pack a Windstone! 8)Agreed, they are AWESOME on Customer Service and representation of what they sell, I think I got a black griffin from them way back when and he was perfect. They usually don’t have the original boxes, and if they do usually not the original packing. Other than the prices I have nothing but praise for these charming and friendly people!
October 13, 2008 at 6:26 am #736151My Emp actually came with the original box! 😀 He got here in a box they could have drop kicked all the way. 😯 😆 😆
October 13, 2008 at 4:57 pm #736152I bought my peacock OW from them and he came in one piece and was not in the original box. I was very pleased!!! 😀 And yes, they are very friendly and great!
October 13, 2008 at 6:59 pm #736153I think they are dragon keeper on the Forum or something like that
October 13, 2008 at 9:11 pm #736154Yep, dragonkeeper. That’s BT Weddings. They are excellent for packing. I got some retired griffins from them, and a large flapcat.
October 13, 2008 at 9:47 pm #736155yes.. they package very very well…
and they were nice to deal with… I got two ark animals candle lamps from them.. they were damaged when the got them… but you could have thrown the box they came in and they would have been fine.. that’s how well they packed them
and honestly… they are pretty fair with the stuff they sell.. it might seem high.. but you know you’re getting something good…
October 13, 2008 at 10:14 pm #736156I think the unicorn’s a bit high, but I don’t know how inflated the rest of them are, really?
October 30, 2008 at 8:35 pm #736157I actually bought my coiled mother dragon from them, which they said did not come with original box, but he was well packaged like he said, but it turns out, he was packed with an original box. I guess they don’t want to claim it’s an original box if they are not positive. I paid a high price, but it seems that the coils seem to increase in value so much more than a lot of the larger dragons.
October 30, 2008 at 8:44 pm #736158I noticed that to, that the smaller dragons seem to sell for as much if not more than the larger ones. Makes sense, the smaller guys tend to be more rare compared to the larger sculpts.
