Cute kitten. But do you have any idea what I could do with $22,000? Can you say house remodel…. I can. 🙄

Sun Dragon Koi #3February 24, 2009 at 10:26 pm #752594Oh, wow, that was a beautiful – and huge – cat. I wouldn’t mind having one, you know, when I’m a millionaire or something… after the SK, of course 😀
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

February 24, 2009 at 10:36 pm #752596I love his markings but hell, that much money would pay for our wedding.
February 24, 2009 at 10:48 pm #752597Holy bleep. Only in California. (And I’m born’n’raised here, so I can say it! 😈 ;))
People can be so daft. For that kind of money, I’d start a herd of Secret Keepers! And they wouldn’t claw my furniture, pee on my walls, eat my chickens, or get eaten by (or eat) the neighbor’s dog! Seriously, though, it is begging for trouble to splice in genetics like that and pretend it’s still a pet animal. Considering the number of purebred housecats that are prone to hide behind furniture and leap out and bite your ankle because of their hunting instincts, adding in traits of large feline species is phenomenally dumb. What are we aiming for, something that’ll hide behind the furniture, jump out and go for your child’s throat?
February 24, 2009 at 11:01 pm #752598Beautiful. If I had spending money like that I’d get one. Meantime I’m happy with the 15 critters I’ve got. 😀
I’d pick their furry love and warmth over a new car or frniture any day. Oh wait, I have 😆February 25, 2009 at 12:26 am #752599I’ve drooled over Savannahs (‘Ashera’) cats before…but at that price, I’ll keep sticking with my ‘cheap’ $1000 Bengals, thanks! 😆
February 25, 2009 at 1:12 am #752600They have all kinds of BS claims over those cats, supposedly they are the “worlds first hypoallergenic cat”. The Allerca GD $6950.00, the Chakan GD $16,900 and Ashera GD$37,000 , but they can not show any of the science behind it.
They also have some really expensive mutt dogs too the Jabari GD for the bargain price of 15,000, and some “titan” protection dog for $85,000 to 120,000, and they are nothing more than Schutzhund traind German Shepherd, you could buy one for about 5 grand from any other trainer.

Sun Dragon Koi #3February 25, 2009 at 2:31 am #752602ohhhh it is so cute! But I dont think I would pay 22,000. I thought my ragdoll kitty was expensive lol
February 25, 2009 at 2:39 am #752603I wouldn’t pay $22000 for show a dog, let alone an exotic house cat!
February 25, 2009 at 4:16 am #752604At A1 Savannahs you can get an F5 savannah (basically 5 generations removed from servals) for $650US. I think it was $2000 or so for F2 (grandparent was a serval) but I don’t remember.
Someone got gypped >.<
But I guess they are throwing the leopard in there too, but still….. a tenth of the price????
I don’t know if they are the original founder as claimed (they all claim that, c’mon most of them are lying) but I’ve heard some good reviews. When I have the money….. *sighs*
February 25, 2009 at 5:59 am #752605Of their regular “most beautiful house cats in the world” (their words) the price goes up to 125,000 all one can say is that a fool and his money.
