Yep, they are supposed to come out in black. I want a little black chick, too. (hehehe)
They are supposed to come out in brown and black as limited production, I think, and then the wolf color will be regular production.May 1, 2007 at 10:22 am #568956Hi. I just joined the forum to make sure I didn’t miss out on the griffins (somehow I missed the mother and one of the chicks in pearl). How do I order from you? Thanks.

I am not a dealer, but Wolflodge100 and Emerald are both. There are several others on here, too. Here is the thread listing them. http://www.windstoneeditions.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2365&start=0
If you are looking for the pearl ones, email Karen@windstoneeditions.com or susie@windstoneeditions.com. They can probably get you some pearl ones.
Welcome to the forums!!!
May 1, 2007 at 11:22 am #568958limited production blacks hmmmmm i bet that’ll cost me π
Is the mother not going to come out in normal tan giffin colours?May 1, 2007 at 11:33 am #568959Griffiness wrote:limited production blacks hmmmmm i bet that’ll cost me π
Is the mother not going to come out in normal tan giffin colours? From what I remember… correct me if I am wrong, anyone… They were gonna release llimited production in black and in tan so that folks who had those males could get families to match. They dont want to release them new in stores because they wont be able to buy the retired males there.
May 1, 2007 at 12:02 pm #568960Yep that is what was said in one thread Melody said she was working on mixing the paint for the tans, or thinking of mixing the paint.

Ok So I know the canadian dollar is less than the American… But… Well when did the Black Grif Male retire? Because when I was trying to get mine in ’99-2000 the only store that had one was already charging $350. π― π

LH will have to correct me if I’m wrong, but I belive that even $350 is overpriced even for ebay for the Black Griffin. According to Astral Castle it was retired in 2004.
