Yep, they are supposed to come out in black. I want a little black chick, too. (hehehe)
They are supposed to come out in brown and black as limited production, I think, and then the wolf color will be regular production.

From what I remember… correct me if I am wrong, anyone… They were gonna release llimited production in black and in tan so that folks who had those males could get families to match. They dont want to release them new in stores because they wont be able to buy the retired males there.

Yep that is what was said in one thread Melody said she was working on mixing the paint for the tans, or thinking of mixing the paint.

Not limited edition, limited production, so im sure there will be plenty. 😉 There were plenty of the Pearl ones.

The Black Griffin retired in 2004 (according to Astral Castle)

LH will have to correct me if I’m wrong, but I belive that even $350 is overpriced even for ebay for the Black Griffin. According to Astral Castle it was retired in 2004.

$350 is waaaayyy too high. I have never seen a black one go that high.
