If I were that seller I’d be fairly worried. I sure hope the winner actually pays their winning bid.
March 9, 2009 at 12:52 pm #755166I laughed when I saw this auction yesterday.

March 9, 2009 at 4:34 pm #755167LOL! Wow…. that whole thing is nuts. If I was the seller I’d assume I wasn’t getting paid, or at the very least someone would be screaming at me and filing a dispute in a few weeks when they did their research properly! 😮 …….even though it would totally be the buyers own fault.
People are silly

Ugh. That seller is just trying to rip somebody off. I hope it doesn’t sell.

Considering it’s already been taken down, then I can’t imagine it’ll sell! Maybe they saw the other auction and assumed it was worth that much, then later found out they were wrong. Unless you know the person, it’s hard to tell what is going on here.
This has been brought up in the past, but guys, be careful what you say!! This seller is not trying to rip anyone off unless they take their money and run, and don’t send the piece. There are no Windstone Pricing Police… someone can ask $3,000.00 for one of these guys and there’s nothing wrong with that. I can’t imagine they’d get that… but if they did, then they either had someone who wanted that piece that badly, or someone that didn’t know the value of the piece. As always, if you are investing in something expensive, do your homework! A few minutes worth of searching online will give you a general idea about value.

My art: featherdust.comMarch 10, 2009 at 3:25 pm #755170That E-Bayer has bought many Windstones and they’re bound to know a little something about the market. Including that that kitty is not retired and still available for far less than $185.
March 10, 2009 at 3:55 pm #755171Well, I guess they must have REALLY wanted it then 😆

Seriously though, my local dealer may have some.

March 12, 2009 at 10:19 pm #755174I see the little guy has been relisted, wonder if the buyer figured out how much they were really worth?
