Since in the past, I’ve been asked to post progress pics and that this time, I actually remembered to take pics, here we are!First step: I draw the lines in pencil, filling in partly the ones that will be black, otherwise, things get really confusing once I start painting.
Then the paint has to dry…

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmMay 3, 2020 at 5:09 pm #1609565Once the paint was dry. I erased the pencil marks the best I could.
I doesn’t show much, but I did the first coat of light grey here.
Started the dark grey lines… this takes forever!

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.December 27, 2020 at 8:36 am #1633772And 3 months later… I expect these will be the last WIP pics – the next ones should be the finished product!
Here are the first steps for the head.
First, the pencil lines:
Then the dark lines:
Next time, them lines will be clean, the hooves and mane will have some bling and I’ll have figured out what to do with the lines in the mane. I promised myself I’d finish her by the end of the year!

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmDecember 27, 2020 at 4:11 pm #1633788She’s looking great, Dragonmedley! Great job on keeping the face lines smooth and well-spaced; it must be tricky with such a small body part.
