I bid my maximum ($200) early on. Then it was bid up to and sat at $200 for most of the auction. I had nothing else to bid on it.
I love the female griff like I loved the male–but have to pass her up like I did the male. Wouldn’t mind if these became production pieces. And that Poad–I’m a Poad lover but this is the first time I just looked at one and went ‘meh’. It is different I have to admit and would stick out of my collection but it doesn’t do anything to me.

That’s where I’m at too with the Poad. It’s a little funny/cute, but it doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe just too ‘plain’ after the Bengals and Cuttles and blue ones. Perhaps if she did a black blanket Appaloosa, or a palomino appaloosa…but not a leopard appaloosa. :nea:

😮 Runs back and edits post after viewing ebay items–there is a merle sitting griffie chick! Won’t be able to get it, but how cute! And, it looks like others feel the same about that Poad—now this is stooooopid I know, but I kinda feel sorry for it. So plain and weird/cute and no one really wants him [sniff, sniff]. Of course I think Melody is getting cross eyed from painting all those bengal items! Starting to see spots before her eyes! 😆

I’d love to see the appaloosa color on any of the equines. I also like that blue meryl chick. I didn’t like the male griffen but i think the chick looks cute as a button in that color. Maybe future males in that color will strike my fancy more 😀

Are you serious, that’s all that Kirin went for? Wow, someone got lucky! Once again, all BEAUTIFUL auctions that I’m sure will go out of my price range, but they sure are nice to swoon over! So pretty! I’m loving that Blue Myrle scheme and the Bengal is drop dead gorgeous, but that’s pretty obvious 🙂
