Last tiger griff will probably be up after Jen’s griff ends. Sorry to have to torture you like that…
*chuckles* Ohhh, it’s no torture at all. Y’see, if the Prairie Falcon griff goes home with me, it leaves funds available for someone else to take that adorable tiger griff chick home with them. π
*glances around* Did that work? π
Hmmm… maybe I should try hypnosis. π
*hehe* No worries Tyrrlin as much as I LOVE the prairie griffin *puts blinders on* I am waiting fot the last tiger chicky π
I wish you the best of luck! π π πMarch 11, 2009 at 2:03 am #741835*squees happily*
I’ll defend my bidding to the point of….welll… *checks her bank account* …hmmm.
I *do* need to pay rent. π
Good luck to anyone else who’s going to bid on him. π Not like they have a chance or anything… I think.
And if I don’t win, it just means someone else wanted it more than I… and had faster typing fingers. π

It’s okay and I understand! But if the piece goes to someone we know, most of the time we hear about it here right? π Or even better, get photos….! π
That’s true. π
Tyrrlin, good luck on the Prairie Falcon griffin. He’ll be griffin number which in your flock?

*coughs* If I win, he’d be my 37th Windstone griffin, and my 46th Windstone in general, if you don’t count the unpainted PYOs in my closet. As for griffins in total… I have no idea. *sheepish grin* π

March 11, 2009 at 6:06 pm #741838Holy Cow that griffin is gorgeous Jen. That sucker is sick. I so wish I could afford him.

WHYYYY are the auctions being listed (and therefore ending) so late? It’s going to make it MURDER to defend bids at that time. π
Because, I don’t have time to list them earlier. Are you on the east coast? I try not to list things past 7 Pacific time, but John wanted that griff up ASAP, and 7:30 last night was the soonest I could manage. (Well, regardless of what time I list something, the end time will always be inconvenient for someone out there).
Central time, but apparently I can’t read a clock. Don’t mind me. For some reason I was thinking the auction was going to end at 1:30 AM, not 9:30 PM.
I’ll shutup now…. and count my pennies. >.> π
It’s like 10:30 my time EST. The late end for the auctions is killing me. I have to drive to town and wait for hours. Only to decide whether it’s gotten too high to bid. sigh….But you have to do what you can do Pam. πLooking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin

Sun Dragon Koi #3March 12, 2009 at 5:59 am #741840Not sure about the gray beak, but otherwise, that gryphon is gorgeous! <3 I want visitation rights! π
March 12, 2009 at 6:09 am #741841Tyrrlin, you have thir-ty-six griffins? *unsuccessfully tries to hault her jaw up off the floor*
March 12, 2009 at 6:13 am #741842No comments yet on the Twilight mama coiled? I though you guys would be all over that one. Just as an FYI, we only have 3 of those for now.
So far I’ve noticed that each of Olimp’s twilight colored dragons has been done differently. Twilight curlies are different from the twilight lap, which was diff. from these twilight mother coileds, and the twilight SK’s are probably a little different too (haven’t seen anough of them to know). The twilight mother coileds have bright violet antiquing, which I know the lap/SK’s/curlies don’t have.
March 12, 2009 at 6:16 am #741843The Twilight mama is gorgeous, just plain gorgeous. She and the Jade Silver are my favorite coiled colors, I think.
March 12, 2009 at 1:05 pm #741844Same here, GB! I think it would be fun for Windstones to come up with a dark pink for the mama. Then they could market the Twilight and pink ones as congrats gifts for new or expectant mums π

*coughs sheepishly* Thirty-six Windstone griffins. Gotta keep the families together, yanno? π Dunno about how many total, but it’s a lot.

March 12, 2009 at 1:54 pm #741846π Thanks for the link – it’s so neat to see such big themed collections.
TDM, I like your idea for twilight and blue coiled mamas. I wouldn’t use them as gift for expentant mums, though – I would keep them. π
March 12, 2009 at 2:48 pm #741847I love the twilight color and adore that twilight momma, especially since the eyes are normal eyes… I think they suit better on the twilight lap, but that is just my humble opinion (though it would be a nice way to differentiate between production and special pieces.. or that nice ocean blue color that was done.. *coughhintsqueak* squeek* ). I just can’t go for one right now. Jen’s griffin is spectacular as well!

The grey beak was to be true to the falcon I based him on. π
