That griffin is a handsome fellow!
January 2, 2009 at 11:29 am #741325$305 for the kirin baby! For something not even as big as a finger! Wow. 😮
January 2, 2009 at 2:36 pm #741326Wow, that gryphon really speaks to me… which is odd since I don’t usually go for the Sunset test paints.
Windstone collector in remission. 😉

January 3, 2009 at 1:55 am #741329A couple of people were asking. I ended up getting the Baby Kirin. 🙂
Did pay a bit more then I was hoping. Still I really wanted it. Loved the colors.
January 3, 2009 at 2:05 am #741330Your griffin is lovely. Congrats on the purchase. I am looking at the new auction on Ebay. Can’t decide whether to bid on it or the copper mother.
January 3, 2009 at 5:56 am #741331Congratulations RiDuvessa! I’ve found if you really want something money is no object. As long as you’re satisfied with what you bought, that’s what counts.

And oh, my flying goldfish, that griffin is lovely! Looks tropical to me.January 17, 2009 at 7:02 am #741334I love that griffin. It almost looks better than the production version!

I agree, GB! I love how the wings are done and I especially like the way his face is painted 😉 . Don’t get me wrong – I like the production version, but I always thougt the griffy body could do with a bit more color or interference. There is so much detail on them that you kind of lose it when it’s all one, flat color – in my opinion , at least 😳 .

And then the next one went for over $500! I am shocked. 😮
(Course, now I don’t feel as guilty for the $305)

And oh, my flying goldfish, that griffin is lovely! Looks tropical to me.I just fixed the links and added more pics to the griffin…unfortunatly I can’t post them like I used to: before you guys could click on the picture to get to the auction, now you have to click the link itself. 🙁
