In a backwards way, although the hackers are making more work, in the end Windstone gets more money so its all good.
Not necessarily. If the hacker hadn’t interfered, there is a chance that someone else (legit) may have tried for the piece, but didn’t when then saw the ‘fake’ high high prices. Additionally, this rash of hacking is discouraging bidders which is really harmful to Windstone. They could be losing money.
Additionally it is such a headache for record keeping and trying to figure things out. Also, what if the second highest bidder (the real winner) is not a forum member, and Windstone is unable to find out who it was? Arguably, the minimal fees are worth the ease of transaction.
Finally, technically what Windstone is doing is against eBay policy, and we all like playing by the rules.

😆 Maybe they should get their crap together then, though I guess there is not an easy way to stop it.

I wouldn’t want Windstone to get into trouble… of course I also think that if Windstone comes to an agreement with the second bidder and they have no problems with the sale price ebay should back off. Since they can’t “fix” the problem there should be no penalty to the buyer if the buyer is okay with the price. (I’m assuming Windstone would be okay with it as well) It’s not fair to penalize the buyer and who knows I/they may not be available to participate in a second auction and that wouldn’t really be fair because IF it hadn’t been hacked I/they really would have won him. I just can’t believe he sat at $910 for so long. (watch me go from detached to worried that I won’t get him all in one paragraph)Looking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin

Competition for what? o_o Whatcha all bidding on now? That Secret Keeper? I’d like one of the fledglings, myself. I think the black around their eyes make them look more serious and less…bratty. It’s the first time I’ve been interested in the little devils. >.>

Thanks Wolfen! 😀 Yeah, I was determined to get this one. And don’t worry! there won’t be any competition from me on the next Spring Green one. Good luck in getting him. That color is very beautiful also.
