I never would have thought it would go quite that high in the end! 😯
Now we know what to expect when Jennifer’s special curlies get listed to Ebay.April 20, 2008 at 6:29 pm #672131April 20, 2008 at 11:28 pm #672132Setsunawolf, congratulations on the female griffin on e-bay! You must have quite a few test paints by now! You should post a pic of all of them together!
April 20, 2008 at 11:39 pm #672133Congrats! She’s beautiful. I was high bidder for a little while. When you’re high bidder on these it’s like Rent-a-Windstone. 😆
😀

(But you gotta take a group photo of all them together when you get it…Pweeeease? I would love to see that! 😳 )
Mos Def. And WSC, if you ever need to sell one of those logostones, I have been looking for ages. 😆 ….I think I asked you before, didnt I? Dang… cant remember.
Definitely! I’ll post a group photo once I take a picture (that is, once my boyfriend takes a picture! 😆 ).mimitrek wrote:Greater Basilisk wrote:And could you post up photos of your collection with tha OOAK castle you won last?
Mos def! I haven’t had a chance to get pictures yet (it only arrived last Friday), but hopefully I can get some pictures this weekend.
I finally have the pictures! Here’s one of the Arch Castle with the production castles (the Arch Castle fits in pretty well with those, so I’m displaying them together), and one of all the castles:
April 21, 2008 at 5:41 am #672135Thank you, Mimi. Lovely collection. Bummer you didn’t get the High Tower castle, but you’ve still got the most complete castle set out there.

Awww… how can I say no! I’ll try. 🙂 It may be a while though. 🙂
Thank you thank you thank you thank you. 😀 I can wait. And I’ll be ready.

That was only slightly less than the Serpentine Sun Dragon.I saw that and gulped. I want Nam’s curlies so bad, but if they sell for that kind of money, I don’t know if I can go for both…

Thanks! 😀
I definitely wouldn’t have minded having the High Tower castle, but I didn’t like it nearly as much as the Arch Castle. You know what’s funny — I randomly picked a number for my maximum bid on the High Tower castle, and when I checked later I found that it was exactly half of my winning bid on the Arch Castle! I guess subconsciously I decided that I only liked the High Tower Castle half as much as the Arch Castle. 🙂
April 21, 2008 at 5:56 am #672139😆 That makes sense. I looked at the pictures again after what you said about the colors and “unfinished parts,” and it’s definitely better you got the Arch Castle.
April 21, 2008 at 5:58 am #672140I think so too! I definitely couldn’t bring myself to bid as much as I did for the Arch Castle when I considered the “unfinished” aspects.
April 21, 2008 at 11:26 am #672141Those castles are gorgeous…beautiful collection!!
April 21, 2008 at 11:29 am #672142What pretty castles! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
April 21, 2008 at 3:38 pm #672143Really neat castles. How is the castles related to Windstone? Is the maker an employee?

The castles were produced by Windstone Editions. Gary Kinsella is the artist that sculpted them for Windstone Editions. Just like Forms of the Feminine Spirit are Windstone Editions- but by artist Maya Hill.
