The Poad(tm) has nice dark lacey lines on her. It really sets off the purple stripes.
Good luck to all who are going after these. I would love to try for the OW… but I don’t think I’ll be able to swing it.
February 29, 2008 at 4:21 am #671636How much do the OW usually go for?
I’m not really partial to this color. He looks kinda dull… I wonder if they could put a coat of the invisible paint on him to sparkle him up?February 29, 2008 at 4:21 am #671637The sun dragon has to be my favorite outta the two dragons. The poad is very pretty!
My most wanted list: carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties
February 29, 2008 at 4:36 am #671638If that OW wouldn’t probably hit $1500 +, I’d make a go for him. I love those prototypes.
And speaking of silvers, when was the silver sun added to the ebay auctions windstone page? I don’t like the suns, but that guy has my skin all goosebumply! 😆
February 29, 2008 at 4:55 am #671639I thought the SKs were the ones that sold that high?
It will be interesting to watch.
Who has the list of special piece ebay auctions?February 29, 2008 at 4:56 am #671640I’ve got the list, and I’m also working on updating the web site Ravnheart set up. I’m realizing as I go through this though that I have some prices missing.
Also I have a question. Do you guys think I should list the pieces that have been hacked or not since we don’t know their final sales prices?
February 29, 2008 at 5:24 am #671641I can only see the pic of the oriental, but he looks nice. I want a prototype, but cant buy till after I move. 🙁 I hope he is dull… then I wont feel like I am missing out 😆
February 29, 2008 at 5:59 am #671642The OW should have been called Black and Tan because I am not feelin Graphite from it… to me Graphite is more grey like what comes from a pencil….

Can you mark them “hacked” or something? Then if someone wants to know about a specific piece, they can at least see that we don’t have an answer, rather than thinking the answer got lost because nobody was paying attention. *shrug* Or is that just silly?

I think you should include those on the list too. Do you think John could provide you with the final sale price to the second highest bidder? They would have record of that, and we just want to know for the reference site.

I’ll try and figure out a way to mark them as hacked. It may not show up in the price area (I think I can only enter numbers on the website), but I can at least put hacked in the area set aside for where the piece sold.

I don’t know if John can do that due to privacy issues. I think the best I can do is try and contact the forum members who got the second chance offers and ask if they could PM the final price. I know I asked on one of the older pieces that got hacked and the forum member said John requested they not share the final price. I can understand that fully.
February 29, 2008 at 5:50 pm #671646I love both the OW and the Oriental but I am sure they wil go to high for me but I can dream
February 29, 2008 at 6:36 pm #671647Does anyone know if there’s any possibility of the sun dragon having more made of her? I could care less if I have a ‘special’ one and it will probably go too high for me anyhow but I want to know if this is the only chance ever at this color… Sorry if this is an obvious question, still new here 😀

For the bronze color if you want it you are going to have to go after it on ebay. This is the third in this particular color so it may be (don’t quote me on this) that windstone is doing 10 of them like they did 10 of the pearl gold.
As for the sun dragons in general unless you go after one of the pre-exsisting colors (peacock, jade or ruby) you may not be able to get it in any other color. Melody has said many times that the oriental dragons are a PAIN to demold and until the molds can be redesigned the chances of them being produced again are slim.
