I can def understand that! Car problems can be pricey. π
November 5, 2007 at 5:42 pm #633237That they can. I just got the call back and I am so lucky it didn’t turn out worse than it did. One of the hoses that connects to the transmission broke and basically the car had run out of transmission fluid. π― I’m glad I took it in when I did. If I had kept driving it I could have burned the new transmission up. Then I would have had a $3,000 bill rather than the $200 one that I have.
November 5, 2007 at 7:33 pm #633238That’s good news….$200 is way better than $3000.
November 5, 2007 at 7:58 pm #633239Wow! I’m glad you caught your car troubles quickly without a huge bill like it coulda been!
Ski, hope you get all the cash you need. Is it moving expenses? Where ya movin to? π
November 5, 2007 at 8:11 pm #633240Looks like im moving to Hawaii… maybe. That would not be so bad as a stateside assignment. I would still get COLA in Hawaii, though not as much as here. In the states I would get nothing! Its gonna be a big shock trying to adjust. Right now, I am just trying to get where I am not relying on the COLA. I want to put it straight on a bill every month. With Christmas coming up, though, I know that is gonna be hard.
November 5, 2007 at 8:40 pm #633241Ooo that tiger gryphon pyo is awesome. What are you looking to get for him?
November 5, 2007 at 8:42 pm #633242π― HAWAII!
I would love to visit Hawaii! I don’t know about living there, but a nice long visit would be great!
Ski, I hope you like it there and that Justin adapts quickly!
How many different countries have you been posted to since he was born and is he usually okay with the move?
November 5, 2007 at 9:36 pm #633243Wow! @ Hawaii! It sure is beautiful there. I don’t envy you the move, though. All that packing and unpacking. Blech! π π
November 5, 2007 at 11:29 pm #633244So that gold lap, is it the same gold that’s in the store right now?
Or is it a softer gold? I’m trying to remember all the golds that they’ve gone through. I’m interested if it’s not so brassy….

I have only been to Texas and here since Justin was born. He has spent most of his life here in Germany. We may not go, though. Me and my man are trying to get stationed together. So far, Justin has been fine with moving places. We have moved to three different houses since he was born and he seems ok with it. If we do move there, you are more than welcome to come visit πNovember 6, 2007 at 8:30 am #633247lamortefille wrote:Wow! @ Hawaii! It sure is beautiful there. I don’t envy you the move, though. The first ten were a darker gold, like my fledge. Then they went on to the buttery gold, like I have, then to the current production gold. I am preeeety sure the ones in the store are whats left of the buttery gold.

November 6, 2007 at 3:35 pm #633250Ah, I see…. I’m not that interested then. (Lack of money has no baring on it at all…. π , I really have to stop inquiring about things when I’m broke)
I hope you like Hawaii. π
