Question to anyone who can recall (or can point me in the right direction) on this! Are Windstones (PYOs in particular) kosher to post on Deviant Art? I recall there being a discussion about this at one point, where it was strongly discouraged to post your PYOs to a Deviant Art gallery, but I vaguely recall that being changed to “It’s OK now” at some point. Or maybe I’m not remembering correctly.
Does anyone know?

The Deviantart TOS had some wording that might have infringed upon the rights of Windstone, so it was requested that we (Melody too) not post Windstone stuff to Deviantart. That has changed over time, and now that the TOS is agreeable and does not infringe upon the rights of Windstone, Windstone stuff can be posted on there. Melody has a gallery now, too. PYOs are okay. Please just represent them honestly; paint job is yours, sculpt is © Melody (I don’t foresee this being a problem with anyone here!!). 🙂

Is this still being bypassed for now? I realize that since it says it, it probably is, but I didn’t want to flood the gallery with the images of pieces I’ve done in the past if it’s annoying either! I have.. kind of a lot of PYOs done.

Don’t worry about it, submit all you want. I just went and removed that rule. We haven’t had a problem with too many submissions! I don’t think many people know about this group.

Don’t worry about it, submit all you want. I just went and removed that rule. We haven’t had a problem with too many submissions! I don’t think many people know about this group.
Sometimes we get submissions, and I forget to approve them, so if forget to do that, just poke me somehow, either here or on DA.We had that rule because when the group first opened, people were submitting their entire collections of PYOs at once, and it was flooding the group, and not everyone was getting a ‘fair’ share of being seen. That’s not really a concern anymore.

I just went through and attempted to submit a few of my pieces (I tried really hard to narrow it down, but I think I sent in maybe 10), and I noticed that when I was attempting to submit it would give me an error on some, saying I would be exceeding my limit of 5 per folder, or 5 per day. So I’m not sure if they went through or not – it was unclear.Also, there are a few folders at the bottom that I cannot submit to – it looks like the newest PYOs, like the Winged Cat, Kitty Griffin, and Hippocampus.
