Male Hearth....one dayπ€Dream on.August 26, 2012 at 12:42 pm #885497Yeah getting a little worried here in Tampa, we don’t fly home til tomorrow. Hoping we will just miss it and they can fly around it. Back home in Idaho we have fires, so leaving a hurricane & heading to the fires, it’s a no win. LOL!

Male Hearth....one dayπ€Dream on.August 26, 2012 at 1:40 pm #885505LOL! It’s been interesting. So far the weather has been pretty nice, not too hot not too cold. Played in the Gulf, so different to be swimming in the sea & not freezing your butt off. Water temp was same as air temp @ 84 degrees F, very different from the Pacific where I grew up. We floated around for 2 hours, it was great. With luck the flight home will go smoothly.

Male Hearth....one dayπ€Dream on.August 27, 2012 at 11:24 pm #885578Stay safe those in Louisiana (I know Keschete is there). Isaac is heading in that direction. FL was lucky and got off easy.
August 28, 2012 at 1:43 pm #885593All my preparations are done. Just washing a last batch of clothes before I lose power… and we will. π I believe I have contacted everyone I owe commissions to. If I missed anyone, I apologize. I will be out of contact for a bit.
This shouldn’t be anywhere as bad as Gustav, but we are ready just in case. π
August 28, 2012 at 5:19 pm #885574I am in southeastern FL just below WPB and we got lucky this time. My power was only out for about 1 1/2 hrs last night. I still can’t believe FPL got it back on that fast. We did get very heavy wind and rain.
Update – The lake is now in my backyard and the cul de sac is under about 3 to 4″ of water. I am glad it is now pretty much past the state of FL I just wish it wouldn’t go away and not hit anybody else
Everybody still in Issac’s path be careful and be safe.
August 28, 2012 at 10:55 pm #885611We made it out of Florida safely with no delays in flights. So happy that everyone is doing well thus far as the storm continues its path.
