I was curious as to why the retired Striped version of the Male Griffin is not listed at all on the Astral Castle site in the encyclopedia? Was he some kind of special edition or something? Or overlooked? Wasup?! 😕
The Striped-Winged Tan Griffin is just another way of painting the Tan Griffin. Artist’s liberty, you know. They’re actually the same article.
The stipey ones are far less common, as they were kinda a ‘mistake’ in a way. Melody didn’t want them to be so stripey but a few got painted a little heavier with the darker brown color. They are considered the same on places like Astral Castle as the retired tan griffin though- as they were not a separate catalog number.
