Now, nobody panic, despite the appearance of the box, the baby griffons inside were intact and safe, unfortunately my COA did not fare as well, it is pretty badly crumpled, but I’ll survive.

Anyway, this what what the post office brought me today, and I was not impressed with the appearance of this box, they obviously did not read the FRAGILE in big letters, along with breakable sculptures enclosed. Because if they had, I would think that the box would not have been crushed. That’s Canada/USA customs postal service for you, they obviously suck.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Really, you have to go out of your way to do that.

Does anyone work at the postal service and can say how packages can get that badly damaged?

The gal that dropped it off could not fathom what had happened to it, but documented it througly just in case we needed to make a claim for damages. Lucky for them, the shipper packed well, she’s a good mommy.

So the little griffons made it safely, and I will be repairing one’s paint job and gloating over the other, since she’s mine!

Considering the baby griffon in question suffered some paint damage, it wouldn’t be accurate anyhow. I don’t plan to sell her, and really that’s all you really need a COA for, not that I won’t keep it.

As it is, I haven’t a clue where one of the three for my brown hatchlings went, unfortunately I put them in the drawer on the bottom of the curio cabinet, not really thinking Karli could/would open it. Silly me.

I had to hide the others, and even I don’t know where they are, but they are safe! Somewhere.

Reminds me of the first Ace Ventura movie where Jim Carrey is dressed as the UPS guy and crushes, smashes and yes, plays football with the fragile package he is delivering…. πŸ™„

These carriers prob. keep upping shipping costs just to pay off all the insurance claims they are getting….

That box is a mess! 😯 I’m glad the items arrived in one piece.

Looks like they ued it as an accordian….Pfft. πŸ˜› Yeah, I understand that! That’s how my Guardian got the crud knocked out of him. I was so mad! 😑 Both boxes had a fist sized hole through the side of them. Also, thanks to Emerald’s good packaging the ruby Sun dragon I got was undamaged, (Fist sized hole again. πŸ™„ )but his box didn’t fair as well. It’s still useable, but if she didn’t pack him so well…*shrugs* Both of the packages that I got like that, were taken into account and since I complained the last time, well, it hasn’t happened again. πŸ˜€
