I run into weird threads from time to time that won’t let me post a comment . I hit reply and the thread suddenly becomes very small and narrow . Then I write a comment and hit a very small save button and it makes my posting vanish and the words in red appear saying comment field must be filled .
No matter what I do it does that making my words disappear . Unless I hit quote then it will let me post .
I can’t figure out why this happens .March 1, 2012 at 12:05 am #875282If you took a screen shot so the admins can see what’s happening and listed affected threads and your browser version, that might be helpful in tracking down the problem.
I have never encountered this myself.

March 1, 2012 at 12:55 am #875289It may to be related to which reply button you use. On Laurie’s post – hitting the Reply button on the last post gets a normal (or close to normal screen). Hitting the “Post Reply” button after the postings gets a narrow screen with small Save button. This does not seem to be a function of the length of the thread. Haven’t checked to see if the number of images in a thread has an effect.
March 1, 2012 at 1:46 am #875298I don’t know how to post what it looks like . The one person this always happens at is LadyFirebirds threads . And I have posted at Laurie’s thread before with no problem .

Exactly the same for me. I’ve had this happen to me with other threads too, though not very many. I don’t know if it’s related, but every time it happened, the person I was quoting or replying to had dragon cave beasties in his/her siggy.

I’ve tried using both reply buttons and not had a problem.
