My peacock male… for sentimental reasons. 😳
I nearly hyperventilated when I saw my first Windstone in the mall (I believe it was the brown male). I didn’t have a job in high school, so I could never afford one. My mom knew I was a dragon freak and that I REALLY wanted one. She eventually got me the peacock family, giving me pieces for Christmas and my graduation. The male is also my favorite sculpt, so I’m particularly fond of it.
I would have a hard time getting rid of one my peacock family (LOVE blue), and I think I would sell a kidney or something before I would ever sell my peacock male! LOL!
It was always odd when my sister and I opened gifts. I got dragons; my sister got Precious Moments. It was such a strange combination. 😈
May 7, 2009 at 1:18 am #763933My favorite would have to be my little rainbow hatching dragon. The day I got it, it was my birthday and I had the flu (so not the greatest day). My now fiancee, who’d I’d been dating for 3 months or so at the time, comes over with a little box – and that little rainbow dragon was inside. He was gonna get me something cheaper, but wanted to make me feel better so got this guy instead. So he’s my little sentimental favorite. 🙂 I’d sell more then my kidneys before I every sold him.
May 7, 2009 at 1:35 am #763934awww… don’t you just love it when they do things like that? 😀
Windstone gifts are the best! 8)
May 7, 2009 at 1:44 am #763935My Rising Spectrals are my favorites since they’re my favorite sculpts!
May 7, 2009 at 5:37 am #763936My Spring Green Riser is my absolute favorite. The Cinnamon fellow is close second.
May 7, 2009 at 6:24 am #763937Oh, that Spring Spectral’s pretty.
For mine, like them all. My Emerald Old Warrior is the official ‘gem’ of my collection.
But I love my scratching dog, he hangs out on my computer desk and keeps cracking me up. 😆
I’m also quite fond of my little PYO’s.
But the one that I keep returning to stare at, is my old Peacock Mother Dragon. Even though it’s so common, the darker Peacock is still my favorite production color, and that sculpt keeps growing on me. 🙂
May 7, 2009 at 12:36 pm #763938My favorite is my emerald mother dragon. She was my 1st, a gift from my then boyfriend, now husband. It’s the one I could never get rid of. My fledgeies and Sylvan follow closely behind.

May 7, 2009 at 1:18 pm #763939Of the Windstones I own, which isn’t many, I’d have to say my Brown OW (which I named Smrgol). If the ones on my ‘dream list’… I’m not sure!

My art: featherdust.comMay 9, 2009 at 12:50 pm #763940That’s a hard question. I love the Kirin sculpts, and I fought tooth and nail for my purple tiger poad (the loveliest poad I have ever seen) but my absolute favorite of my current pieces has to be gold spot female griffin #1 (She was the mostly gray one with the green eyes). I never really liked any of the griffins until melody posted the group pics of the test paint griff’s. She just jumped out at me from the pic so I bought her. (and a preety orange eyed barred wing male so that she would not be lonely) I knew that I would like her, but I was not prepared for just how much prettier she was going to be once I got her out of the box. The detail work on her wings is just amazing!
May 9, 2009 at 8:18 pm #763941GB I LOVE the color of your Spring Green Riser….I wish I had and Emperor like that… 😉

And she drools over that griffin daily. XD The dog gets jealous of all the attention she pays to her too.

Sun Dragon Koi #3May 12, 2009 at 4:07 am #763943I have far too many to pick a single favorite from really, but if I had to pick just one…My BEP Prototype OW! I just LOVE him to death…Yes, he was one of those that for hugs and kisses when he came out of his box. Cat couldn’t have picked a more appreciative collector to sell him to. Thanks again to NirvanaCat!
My female peacock was my first WE. My OOAK Mystery Castle (It’s a bit different from the 9 other Protos out there.) was gifted to me by Melody herself, and I love it too! Also, my first OW…My Emerald. For some reason I think he couldn’t come in a better color, and he was the cause for my love of the OW’s. My Green Emp for being himself, and for living life on my shelf (YAY FOR OLD GREEN!!!), and my Castle of the Hawks. 😳May 12, 2009 at 9:59 pm #763944My favorites are all of the Royal Hatchers. I have the emerald, peacock, brown, rainbow, silver and white sets except for the peacock kinglet which I am still desperately trying to get. I keep getting outbid on eBay when one does come up occasionally . And, of course, the Griffin test paint by Jennifer which I won in her drawing when she was moving.
May 13, 2009 at 1:40 am #763945Darjeb, do you have a picture of that griffin? I would love to see it.
