I’m sure this has been done before but I’m curious….
What’s your favorite piece in your collection? And why? (Not your ultra dream piece, but one you actually have right now.)
Mine’s gotta be my daddy Kirin! He was such a pain to get and he’s still missing his horn, but the way he carries himself, you’d think he doesn’t know it!
(Pics welcome!) 😀

Prairie Falcon Male Griffin and Gold Wine Male Griffin
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
May 6, 2009 at 4:56 am #763920Even on the tiniest silliest auctions, if I’m bidding against another bidder my adrenaline goes through the roof!! They’re perdy ^_^
May 6, 2009 at 5:52 am #763921Each one I look at, I think, oh that one’s my favorite! No, that one! Etc. I guess my favorite favorites would be my tiger cub, my quagga, my jade/silver SK, all 66 of my cats, my 13 oriental suns, my rasta male (on my avatar), my barn owl, my OW’s, all the rest of my males (18), and my 21 curlies. I really don’t want to leave any of them out, but my least favorites are my one poad, then the scratchers, the youngs, the fledges, and the turtle. The rest fall in the middle. I guess that’s as close as I can come to the favorites ordering. (Interesting, I had not done that before!)
May 6, 2009 at 6:42 am #763922My very favorite piece is my emerald old warrior. When I first started collecting I thought he was the most beautiful piece ( although beautiful isn’t really the right word for his masculenity) and I thought I would never ever find one because they had been retired for so long. And then one day I descovered ebay…. One still never came up and I tried to negotiate the sale of one from an anonymous seller that had a mint with box one. After getting the run around for about a month ( very frustrating since I was doing everything I could to finalize the sale) one came up on ebay for a BIN for about the same price as the other one I was trying to buy(it wasn’t the same one). I was still waiting for a reply email from that anonymous seller about shipping costs and such before I sent off my payment ( which by the way i am still waiting for that email since they completely blew me off 😆 ) So I bought him now and never looked back 😀 Sorry for the long silly story but it was a battle to find my favorite piece so I think i’ll remember it for a long time. Here’s a bad picture of him, sorry, the sun isnt out right now so no good pictures.
May 6, 2009 at 4:01 pm #763923This is a hard one….
I will have to say that my most favorite piece in my entire collection would have to be my Copper Gold Emperor…since the Emperor is my most favorite sculpt…LOL I am feeling so guilty choosing…LOL casue honestly I LOVE all of my pieces and I always have a really hard time when I have to part with any of them… 😀Marzena
May 6, 2009 at 4:14 pm #763924That’s a tough one…
I really would have to say I don’t have a single favorite. I don’t have the luxury to buy all of the sculpts that I just “like” – which is alot. Rather, I really have to pick a choose what I can get. I would love to buy every OW that comes out, but I just can’t afford it, so I just get the ones that I absolutly love. Currently that would be the Rainbow and Peacock. So I guess I can say that ALL of my Windstones are my favorite. I know that’s kinda a cheesy answer 😳 , but thats how I look at it.May 6, 2009 at 4:31 pm #763925I can’t pick a single piece either. I’m very fond of my Poads as a group, can’t pick one I like more than the rest, and I’m quite fond of my PYO Ki-rins as well–but I like them all about equally. 🙂
May 6, 2009 at 6:14 pm #763926It’s very hard to pick a single piece. It would be between my Black Emerald Peacock Prototype Old Warrior or Jen’s Black & Tan Griffin Chickies

Looking for Blue Fawn Baby Kirin

Sun Dragon Koi #3May 6, 2009 at 7:15 pm #763928My favorite dragon is my black-gold emperor, Vulcan. Non dragon, I would have to say is a tie between the little magical duelers in my siggy 😀 Oh man, and my baby meerkat. He’s such a cute little guy, I hope they make more of the family someday.
May 6, 2009 at 10:09 pm #763929I don’t want to avoid picking a favorite, but my limited funds mean I only buy pieces I absolutely love. Plus, recently I pared my collection down to only pieces that would need to be pried from my cold, dead hands (except the BG lap and Emerald coiled mother, they could go). So almost all my Windstones are my favorites. 😀
Could I have said my PYOs? Because I painted them, I’m more emotionally attached to them.
May 6, 2009 at 10:34 pm #763930I couldn’t choose just one out of all of them, their all beautiful!
May 6, 2009 at 11:56 pm #763931Not sure if I’d say favorite, but I find myself patting my Red Fire OW pretty often. Then again, I pat the silver lap and the mama Black Sunset griffin too…
Otherwise, two pieces that I wouldn’t sell is my pyo unicorn by Grayfire Artz.
and my pewter unicorn by Frozendragon.
