I really really wanted that brown emperor but got outbid in the last few seconds by Goldendragon. The seller only lives a few miles from me and I had email her about picking it up if I was the winner but I didn’t get it sob sob

I’m so sorry, that is one of the things I hate about this new EBay stuff. You don’t know who is bidding, and you could end up stepping on a friend’s toes. π³ It’s the only downside to this forum; you feel like the people on here are family, then EBay makes you compete with them.
I honestly thought it would go out of my price range, and I was shocked when I saw I won. I had been watching and refreshing for about 20 minutes when I realized in the last 30 seconds that I was not logged into EBay. I thought for sure I lost him when my computer screen went blank for over a minute and I had to close and reopen the window.
Yikes! π―Sheepish question to darjeb: Can I interest you in a peacock emperor at a really good price?

That’s one of the things that ebay does now that I don’t care for either. At least when you see the names you’ll maybe know if you should bid or not. π π

I think Golddragon is a forum member, and I’d want him to get his dragon in one piece O.O he got a good price on it π
Aw, so you were the one that was selling the emperor dragons? No, I’m trying to borrow a box so I can get one shipped to me for repair. They are just so hard to move without their box.
Considering how much I want a Brown Emperor of my own, I wouldn’t sell one if I had one…and I gave Golddragon a run for his money for a little while. But it is just as well I couldn’t compete, I really don’t have the money right now.

I just got the box back from mmloda in Canada. So anyone who needs it is welcome to borrow it. It is in a second box, but the second box really isn’t big enough to put packing around between the two boxes. So you would need to replace the outside box with a larger one to ship the Emp.
PM me if you or anyone needs a box. Kaya

That is a good thing for eBay though. If you don’t bid because you know the person who is bidding with you, then both the seller and eBay lose money. But if you don’t know the other bidders then you have no qualms about bidding higher and higher. It’s probably better for Windstone this way, they make more money and they can keep producing these beautiful quality pieces and keep us all wanting more!
Also, we all know on the forum here that we’ll come up against another forum member on eBay eventually on something. It sucks to lose out on a piece that you really want (it sucks a lot >.< I lose a lot) but you can't be upset with the person who bid higher than you, they wanted it just as much as you did.
