He says he’s 99% sure he can fix it so it’s nice and clear for everyone involved with some USB sound cards he’ll have to dig up. So he seemed confident.

I just have to separate the caller’s voice from the mix so they don’t hear themselves, and it should work fine. That requires another sound card, and I have three little sound cards-in-usb-stick deals somewhere around here.

Rats I missed out. And I was even up late reading HOOD I’ll pay more attention next time and drag my husband the computer geek in on it. He works with all that stuff.

Don’t panic like you missed a huge show.. it was about 10 minutes of me going “Hmmm I think I can fix this” and Jen saying “I’m sure you can”.

I don’t have sound on my Pc right now, when it crashed and they had to take it apart, the boys forgot to rewire up my sound…I don’t have VoIP…so I would have to use the phone to talk on the show.

I’d like to figure out how to listen in though…so I will ask the guys for help later.

If it ever came to the point where there would be call ins it doesn’t matter what you have on your end. The VoIP is on my end. You could call from a payphone for all that it matters.

Alright, I just installed another sound card and I think I have this licked. I am going to fire up the stream for the rest of the day. If you want to listen to it, go nuts, but be warned, I am not paying attention to it, and you will hear completely random stuff as I test things out – or get called away from my desk – and the language in my office is not always PG
