I failed French miserably in highschool…But I know many dirty words in many languages thanks to all the exchange students. XD
How come…were they so vexed with you over your lovable crazyness all the time that those were all you would hear? XD
June 17, 2009 at 6:09 pm #764027Nah, there was more than me. I just tried harder to make them fit in! I know one in Greek, a few in Spanish, some in Pakistani, some in french, some in German, a few in Vietnamese and more than a few in our very own form of English. XD
Lovable craziness?! 😮 I can go for the crazy part, but sometimes not so lovable. 😳 I get that from my Dad…He was cat dirt mean when I was a kid, but sprinkled with the humor and love from my Gramma, it MOSTLY balances out. Usually I snap off and then feel humiliated by it…I am not by rights a complainer, but I do however get frustrated from time to time. (Plus you know us girls, every 28 days or so…WHAM! PMS. 😛 *Trying to wait for Menopause…Patiently* XD )June 17, 2009 at 6:20 pm #764028Oups, double post, sorry.

Yeah, I know. ^^
Blackdesertwind wrote:You should visit Hologramme, just from what I read from the private message he responded to, he speaks better french then I. 🙂
Quebec French looks like similar to French but in fact is not, there are a different grammar, different words and expressions.

http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/568401717NOANifIt’s a beautiful place with a lot of different animals. There are birds who are the same in France.
Me, I live in Caen, an old Medieval city, of Guillaume the Conqueror (was Duke of Normandy from 1035 and King of England from late 1066 to his death).
This is some photos of my city I took three years ago for a canadian’s friend:

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
June 17, 2009 at 7:36 pm #764033I would love to visit Hologramme but I don’t France is in the budget for a few years. I really want to go back to Europe. I spent 6 weeks at Oxford in 2000 and it was amazing. I didn’t make it France but I did get to Galway, Ireland, and I really want to go back. I went horseback riding along the cliffs there and it was worth all the pain my poor knee gave me. I’d do it again too, even if I can’t walk for the next few hours XD .
Hmmm….perhaps in a year or so?

What I love in my country that it’s a small country( fi I compare it to USA or Russia) with a lot of different landscapes, climates, people and traditions. You can have the impression to go to another country for not a lot of money.
For example:
I give the name of the area and some pictures of it
La Normandie (it’s where I live)
Brocéliande forest (in Bretagne)
L’Auvergne (the land of the old volcanos)
Les Pays de la Loire (famous for the number of their castles)
June 18, 2009 at 2:00 am #764037Wow, what beautiful pictures. And I can sense the history of your locale in them!
